BE MADE WHOLE, DO NOT SETTLE FOR LESS THAN GOD'S PLAN...

CAN WE HAVE SPIRITUAL WHOLENESS?

I. WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE MADE WHOLE?

A. WHOLE: all

Entire, complete, total, full, sum total

Uninjured; unbroken, intact; undiminished...

All there is, not less than...

With no part removed... all there is of something,

COMPLETE WITHIN ITSELF,

B. AS A WHOLE: as unity, not separate parts

Psalm 90:12 So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.

C. Why do we need WISDOM?

We need wisdom to enable us to beat and endure the STUPIDITY OF IGNORNANCE.

D. Seems there are many limitations on man's wisdom, but STUPIDITY seems to

be an endness situation.

E. Wisdom is always found in God, there is no other avenue to be wise.

II. SEEMS SOME PEOPLE DO NOT NEED WHOLENESS, THEY WILL ACCEPT A LITTLE LESS

THAN WHAT IS AVAILABLE...

WHOLENESS CAN MEAN HEALTH RESTORED..

A. Whole people do not need doctors!

Matthew 9:12 But when Jesus heard that, he said unto them, They that be whole need not a physician,

but they that are sick.

B. Can you see your need of being made WHOLE? Is this just a game?

III. CAN THERE BE A DIFFERENCE IN HEALING AND BEING MADE WHOLE?

IS IT POSSIBLE TO HAVE A HEALING WITHOUT THE RIGHT ATTITUDE AND THUS

FEEL BETTER PUT STOP WITH LESS THAN THE WHOLE GIFT AVAILABLE?

Luke 17:12 And as he entered into a certain village, there met him ten men that were lepers,

which stood afar off:

[13] And they lifted up their voices, and said, Jesus, Master, have mercy on us.

[14] And when he saw them, he said unto them, Go shew yourselves unto the priests. And it came to pass,

that, as they went, they were cleansed.

[15] And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God,

[16] And fell down on his face at his feet, giving him thanks: and he was a Samaritan.

[17] And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine?

[18] There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger.

A. 10 men had to PUT FORTH EFFORT...

10 men knew how to cry and touch Jesus...

B. LET US EVALUATE ATTITUDES? ONLY ONE HAD A THANKFUL HEART...

9 WERE PERFORMING THEIR DUTY... OUT OF DUTY...

RELIGIOUS DUTIES, RELIGIOUS CEREMONIES, RELIGIOUS TRADITIONS CAN BECOME A SNARE

OR A TRAP TO INDIVIDUALS...

C. WANT TO TALK ABOUT MISSING THE HEART OF THE ISSUES?

9 WERE NOT GRATEFUL ENOUGH TO SAY THANKS

D. THE SAMARITAN DID NOT KNOW ABOUT DUTY...

9 WERE HEALED... 1 WAS MADE WHOLE...

E. WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE IN BEING HEALED AND BEING MADE WHOLE?

IV. LET US KNOW FOR A FACT THAT THOSE THAT TOUCH JESUS CAN KNOW THE

COMPLETENESS, WHOLENESS, TOTAL PLAN THAT GOD HAS RESEVED FOR US...

A. Sometimes to be made whole is instant, others times wholeness comes in degrees,

PROCESS OF TIME...

Matthew 9:22 But Jesus turned him about, and when he saw her, he said, Daughter, be of good comfort;

thy faith hath made thee whole. And the woman was made whole from that hour.

B. TO BE MADE WHOLE --- CAN NOT COME WITHOUT TOUCHING THE SON OF GOD...

Matthew 14:36 And besought him that they might only touch the hem of his garment: and as many as

touched were made perfectly whole.

C. Some touch God, OTHERS TOUCH HIM...

Mark 5:28 For she said, If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole.

V. THE BIBLE IS DEMONSTRATES ONE PERSON CAN STAND IN FOR ANOTHER PERSONS

PROBLEMS AND HELP THEM FIND COMPETENESS, BEING MADE WHOLE.

A. GOD CALLS PEOPLE TO STAND IN THE GAP....

Matthew 15:28 Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great is thy faith: be it unto thee

even as thou wilt. And her daughter was made whole from that very hour.

B. THE WAS A CUSTOM IN THE NEW TESTAMENT CHURCH OF STANDING IN THE GAP...

TO MAKE THIS TANGIBLE THE CHURCH ANOINTED HANDERCHIVES AND APRONS TO SEND

TO THOSE THAT HAD BEEN PRAYED FOR... OTHERS STOOD IN BY FAITH TO HELP THEIR

FAMILY AND FRIENDS RECEIVE A WHOLENESS FROM GOD...

Acts 19:12 So that from his body were brought unto the sick handkerchiefs or aprons, and the diseases

departed from them, and the evil spirits went out of them.

C. Others were sent, ON A MISSION... MISSIONARIES... TO BRING WHOLENESS AND HEALING

FOR THEIR LOVED ONES...

Luke 7:10 And they that were sent, returning to the house, found the servant whole that had been sick.

VI. OFTEN TIMES TO RECEIVE WHOLENESS AND HEALING INDIVIDUALS HAD TO OVERCOME
