Be Like Amos Or One Of Gideon’s 300

1Co 1:26 For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called:

27 But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;

28 And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are:

Rise up all ye that are weak, base, foolish, rejected, ugly, broken, poor, uneducated, too fat, too thin, too young, too old, too this, too that or not enough this or not enough that! God is calling you!

Ministry is for the gifted and called not just the good-looking and erudite with PhDs. God has a place for those folks, but notice the makeup of the church that shook the world. The majority of them would not be seen as leaders or spiritual warriors in most of today’s churches.

You have sat on the back row thinking God cannot use you long enough! Ask God to show you your gift given to you at salvation, but has been lying dormant because of your doubts, the shame talk of the devil and even the shame talk of the Body.

The Body needs all of its parts! It is time for the weak to say they are strong in Him, the base to say I am of great value and have been exalted in Him. Let the foolish say I am wise for I have the mind of Christ. Let all the rest say I am blessed, gifted and highly favored in Him and He has called me into Kingdom service and to do valiant exploits in His name not sit in the shadows defeated and neglected.

Amos 7:14 Then answered Amos, and said to Amaziah, I was no prophet, neither was I a prophet’s son; but I was an herdman, and a gatherer of sycomore fruit:

15 And the LORD took me as I followed the flock, and the LORD said unto me, Go, prophesy unto my people Israel.

Your worldly position may be considered menial and of no grand achievement to the world, but make yourself available to the King and He will set you before Kings with His message to convert or confound them.

Let God arise and raise you up! Let Him show you the destiny He has ordained for you. Take up the armor He has given and be His Marine being Always Faithful in the battle! When satan says, “Stand down! Who are you?” reply “I am a child of God and as He used a small boy named David so also will He use me for I am sent and will stand in the name of the Lord!”

Be one of Gideon’s 300! Jeremiah said he was a child, but God said he was a prophet to the nations. Moses said he could not speak and God made him a leader. He will do the same for you! Let no man keep you from your destiny! Rise up to your calling and conquer! Hallelujah! Maranatha!
