This sermon's main point is to encourage believers to live in full confidence in God, use the power of encouragement, and trust God in all circumstances, remaining steadfast and unmovable in their faith.

Introduction

Good morning, church family!

Today's sermon is all about living in full confidence to God, harnessing the power of encouragement, and trusting God in all circumstances. And what a timely message this is! In a world filled with uncertainty, we ought to have a firm foundation in our faith that allows us to stand steadfast, unmovable, and always abounding in the Lord's work.

Our guiding scripture today is from 1 Thessalonians 15:58, "Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, be steadfast, immovable, always excelling in the Lord's work, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain."

In reflecting on this, I'm reminded of a quote by the respected Christian author, Max Lucado, who once said, "Feed your fears and your faith will starve. Feed your faith, and your fears will." Friends, it's about where we choose to focus our energy and our thoughts.

So, as we delve into this message today, let's open with a prayer.

Dear Heavenly Father, we come to you today with open hearts and minds, ready to receive your message. Guide us to live in full confidence in you, to use the power of encouragement to lift others up, and to trust you in all circumstances. Help us to be steadfast and unmovable, always abounding in your work. We ask this in the precious name of Jesus, Amen.

Let's dive in, shall we?

Living in Full Confidence

Living in full confidence is about complete trust in God, a trust that is unwavering and unshakeable no matter what circumstances we may face. It is about having faith that God is in control, that He has a plan for our lives, and that He will guide us through every storm.

This confidence is not something that comes naturally to us. It is something that we must cultivate and nurture through prayer, study of the Word, and fellowship with other believers. It is a confidence that comes from knowing God intimately, from experiencing His faithfulness in our lives, and from understanding His promises to us.

Living in full confidence also means living without fear. When we trust in God fully, we know that He is with us always, that He will never leave us or forsake us. This knowledge frees us from fear. We don't have to worry about what the future holds, because we know that God holds the future. We don't have to fear the unknown, because we know that God is already there.

This confidence also manifests itself in our actions. When we live in full confidence, we are bold in our faith. We are not afraid to share the Gospel with others, to stand up for what is right, or to step out in faith when God calls us to do something that seems impossible. We know that with God, all things are possible, and so we act with courage and conviction.

Living in full confidence also affects our relationships with others. When we trust in God, we are able to love others more fully and freely. We are not held back by fear or insecurity, but are able to give of ourselves fully, knowing that God is our source of love and strength.

This confidence also gives us peace. When we trust in God, we are able to rest in His promises. We are able to let go of our worries and anxieties, knowing that God is in control. We are able to sleep peacefully at night, knowing that God is watching over us.

Living in full confidence is not always easy. There will be times when our faith is tested, when circumstances seem to contradict God's promises, when it seems like God is silent. But it is in these times that our confidence in God is most important. It is in these times that we must hold onto our faith, remember God's faithfulness, and trust that He is working all things together for our good.
