Summary: Everything you have was given to you by God. He gave them to you for the purposes of His Kingdom Agenda. You are to supply the Kingdom with all you have. You don't own them you are just a channel of blessing.

Topic: BE A CARETAKER OF GOD'S WEALTH NOT A POSSESSOR OF THEM
Acts 4:32-37 King James Version (KJV)
32 And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any of them that ought of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common.
33 And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all.
34 Neither was there any among them that lacked: for as many as were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the prices of the things that were sold,
35 And laid them down at the apostles' feet: and distribution was made unto every man according as he had need.
36 And Joses, who by the apostles was surnamed Barnabas, (which is, being interpreted, The son of consolation,) a Levite, and of the country of Cyprus,
37 Having land, sold it, and brought the money, and laid it at the apostles' feet.
Hallelujah!!! Beloved, topics on giving to churches, Christian groups and Men of God especially are very sensitive and one that activates a lot of debate anytime it is started. However it still needs to be taught and taught the right way for Christians to know and do the right thing.
Beloved as Christians we need to have a certain attitude and posture when it comes to our possessions and finances.
We need to have in our minds that all that we have is not ours but given to us by God Almighty for His Kingdom Agenda.
We have to know that we are caretakers of whatever we have but not possessors. There is only one possessor and He is God.
The Kingdom Agenda, includes but nit limired to your family, having a good life, supporting the Christian community and the Men of God.
When most people are in need, in the church, they go to the Man of God for help. If the Man of God has, he can give out; if he doesn't he can't give out.
The Men of God are given to the Christian community not to be distributing money and satisfying material needs. They are given to pray and preach the Word of God basically. There are other related activities that come with the praying and preaching of the Gospel, such as counselling.
When the Christian appreciates the role of the Man of God and he decides to do as God wants him to, to finance the Kingdom Agenda by supporting the community and the Man of God such that nobody has need and all things are taken care of:
1. The Man of God preaches the Gospel and prays with great power. He is free from the pressures of life which disturbs the spirit and weighs a man down and even sometimes leading him to do unthinkable things that does not speak well of the office given to him by Jesus.
2. Great grace falls upon the whole church. And everybody walks and operates in abundant grace that overflows.
But if we allow the Man of God and other members of the Christian community to struggle to find whiles we have in our possession what they need the church would lack in power and grace.
Beloved, if you have, give. Give with the mindset of pushing the Kingdom Agenda that the Word of God and the salvation of Jesus would go farther and farther and farther even to the ends of the world and that the Word would go forth with great power as the preachers speak.
You don't trust Men of God of these days; no worries; you can be project or programme specific with your giving. For the community you can be purpose specific.
If you doubt the management of your funds, get a management committee, be a part of it, be dedicated and hardworking and push for the project or programme to happen accordingly.
If you are financing another Christian's education, take interest in his results, attendance of class, progress etc. to ensure he is a achieving something to support the pushing of the Kingdom Agenda.
You can (actually someone or a team must) dedicate yourself to support the Man of God as well, pay his bills for him, that he won't have to think of them but have his whole mind and time to the Word and prayer such that he will preach Jesus with power and great grace shall fall on everybody.
If you have the mindset of a caretaker, a channel through which God is providing for His Kingdom and it's Agenda here on earth you will do all these freely without breaking a sweat or having second thoughts.
