I. EXORDIUM:

Did CHRIST died for you?

Yes while I am still helpless and His enemy

But God shows and clearly proves His [own] love for us by the fact that while we were still sinners, Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One) died for us.

These are the instructions (orders) which I have received [as My charge] from My Father.

V. THESIS:

VIII. MAIN BODY:

John 10:18 (Amplified Bible)

No one takes it away from Me. On the contrary, I lay it down voluntarily. [I put it from Myself.] I am authorized and have power to lay it down (to resign it) and I am authorized and have power to take it back again. These are the instructions (orders) which I have received [as My charge] from My Father.

John 10:18 (King James Version)

No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father.

A. The LORD JESUS has all authority and power to lay down His life and take it back again.

"No one takes it away from Me. On the contrary, I lay it down voluntarily. [I put it from Myself.] I am authorized and have power to lay it down (to resign it) and I am authorized and have power to take it back again."

Matthew 26:53-56 (Amplified Bible)

Do you suppose that I cannot appeal to My Father, and He will immediately provide Me with more than twelve legions [more than 80,000] of angels?

But how then would the Scriptures be fulfilled, that it must come about this way?

At that moment Jesus said to the crowds, Have you come out with swords and clubs as [you would] against a robber to capture Me? Day after day I was accustomed to sit in the porches and courts of the temple teaching, and you did not arrest Me.

But all this has taken place in order that the Scriptures of the prophets might be fulfilled. Then all the disciples deserted Him and, fleeing, escaped.

The 12 disciples thought that JESUS is a weakling like portrayed in the movies, a thin, helpless man, but the LORD JESUS CHRIST corrected them that in His pleasure He can disperse more than 80,000 angels at His call doing His bidding to even wipe out the human race, but He would not. For His purpose here on earth is to be crucified for our sins, die, resurrect and ascend again to the FATHER GOD.

2 Corinthians 5:21 (Amplified Bible)

For our sake He made Christ [virtually] to be sin Who knew no sin, so that in and through Him we might become [endued with, viewed as being in, and examples of] the righteousness of God [what we ought to be, approved and acceptable and in right relationship with Him, by His goodness].

John 19:11 (Amplified Bible)

Jesus answered, You would not have any power or authority whatsoever against (over) Me if it were not given you from above. For this reason the sin and guilt of the one who delivered Me over to you is greater.
