VIII. MAIN BODY:

John 10:18 (Amplified Bible)

No one takes it away from Me. On the contrary, I lay it down voluntarily. [I put it from Myself.] I am authorized and have power to lay it down (to resign it) and I am authorized and have power to take it back again. These are the instructions (orders) which I have received [as My charge] from My Father.

John 10:18 (King James Version)

No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father.

A. The LORD JESUS has all authority and power to lay down His life and take it back again.

"No one takes it away from Me. On the contrary, I lay it down voluntarily. [I put it from Myself.] I am authorized and have power to lay it down (to resign it) and I am authorized and have power to take it back again."

Matthew 26:53-56 (Amplified Bible)

Do you suppose that I cannot appeal to My Father, and He will immediately provide Me with more than twelve legions [more than 80,000] of angels?

But how then would the Scriptures be fulfilled, that it must come about this way?

At that moment Jesus said to the crowds, Have you come out with swords and clubs as [you would] against a robber to capture Me? Day after day I was accustomed to sit in the porches and courts of the temple teaching, and you did not arrest Me.

But all this has taken place in order that the Scriptures of the prophets might be fulfilled. Then all the disciples deserted Him and, fleeing, escaped.

The 12 disciples thought that JESUS is a weakling like portrayed in the movies, a thin, helpless man, but the LORD JESUS CHRIST corrected them that in His pleasure He can disperse more than 80,000 angels at His call doing His bidding to even wipe out the human race, but He would not. For His purpose here on earth is to be crucified for our sins, die, resurrect and ascend again to the FATHER GOD.

2 Corinthians 5:21 (Amplified Bible)

For our sake He made Christ [virtually] to be sin Who knew no sin, so that in and through Him we might become [endued with, viewed as being in, and examples of] the righteousness of God [what we ought to be, approved and acceptable and in right relationship with Him, by His goodness].

John 19:11 (Amplified Bible)

Jesus answered, You would not have any power or authority whatsoever against (over) Me if it were not given you from above. For this reason the sin and guilt of the one who delivered Me over to you is greater.

Even in the face of Pontius Pilate who also thought that he can kill JESUS or set him free because he was the governor at that day. The LORD JESUS CHRIST rebuked Pilate but to no good result. Instead of repenting, Pilate acted in hypocrisy by washing his hands, and all people when faced with the TRUTH Himself - the LORD JESUS will ask "what is truth?" instead of asking the right questions, "Who is Truth?" The answer is JESUS. But Pilate ended up in hell because he did not repented and right there and then, accepted the LORD JESUS as His Master, LORD and Savior. All people nowadays in these last days, will remove all blame and fault from them and point at someone else, sin never progressed after all, that's what Adam and Eve have done when they faced the TRUTH - the LORD JESUS in the garden, Adam pointed and blamed Eve, Eve pointed and blamed the snake. Now who do you think the snake will point to and blame? Of course, the only left there is JESUS. Some people before committing a suicide asked GOD "Why have you created me?" I know for sure, because I once wanted to take my life away by suicide. That question is a blame question where I put the blame on GOD instead of me. A very critical and necessary ingredient is to put all the blame on your self and accept that you are a sinner that is the way to accept the solution. If you won't admit to yourself that you are a sinner, then how can GOD forgive you?

Romans 3:23 (Amplified Bible)

Since all have sinned and are falling short of the honor and glory which God bestows and receives.

Romans 6:23 (Amplified Bible)

For the wages which sin pays is death, but the [bountiful] free gift of God is eternal life through (in union with) Jesus Christ our Lord.

B. These are the instructions the LORD JESUS have received from the FATHER GOD.

"These are the instructions (orders) which I have received [as My charge] from My Father."

Hebrews 5:6-9 (Amplified Bible)

As He says also in another place, You are a Priest [appointed] forever after the order (with the rank) of Melchizedek.

In the days of His flesh [Jesus] offered up definite, special petitions [for that which He not only wanted but needed] and supplications with strong crying and tears to Him Who was [always] able to save Him [out] from death, and He was heard because of His reverence toward God [His godly fear, His piety, in that He shrank from the horrors of separation from the bright presence of the Father].

Although He was a Son, He learned [active, special] obedience through what He suffered

And, [His completed experience] making Him perfectly [equipped], He became the Author and Source of eternal salvation to all those who give heed and obey Him,

When do you think the LORD JESUS is accepting instructions from the FATHER GOD since He was limited to a mortal body? The answer is during His devotions, His prayer time on the mountainside, which He usually and routinely does. Our prayer times, devotions, worship time and quiet time are the times GOD downloads instructions through our spirit and so we do it, not by conscience motivation, but spirit motivation.

1 Corinthians 2:15-16 (Amplified Bible)

But the spiritual man tries all things [he examines, investigates, inquires into, questions, and discerns all things], yet is himself to be put on trial and judged by no one [he can read the meaning of everything, but no one can properly discern or appraise or get an insight into him].

For who has known or understood the mind (the counsels and purposes) of the Lord so as to guide and instruct Him and give Him knowledge? But we have the mind of Christ (the Messiah) and do hold the thoughts (feelings and purposes) of His heart.

We have the mind of CHRIST so the way our mind works is like the same as He was, and is and is to come.

We understood it by the Spirit, all things are spiritual unto us. I faced all things with a prayer, before and after, majority of them. Why? Prayer is spiritual act. WORD is spiritual in it's content.

IX. CONCLUSION:

Praise, worship, glorify, adore, bless, honor, acknowledge and thank You very much LORD JESUS for You are the Way, the Truth and the Life and I can come to the FATHER through You.
