Summary: How Jesus wants all his children to live never to thirst any more.

ARE YOU THIRSTY COME AND DRINK

John 7: 37 In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.

38 He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.

39 (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)

Today if you are outside Christ you are out separated from God.

The soul and spirit of mankind is sinful and is controlled by Satanic powers.

Influence by a super natural power. The soul created by and in the image of God will thirst

For ever until satisfied by the living water of Jesus Christ.

(1) The dryness of Christian shallowness.

Matt.13: 5 Some fell upon stony places, where they had not much earth: and forthwith they sprung up, because they had no deepness of earth:

Lack of strength

Look of sickness

Loss of sincerity

Cause 3things weakness-----weariness-----wandering

(2) Deadness of the Church services

Rev.2: 4 Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love.

Fireless, Cold starchy services

Faithlessness empty sounding

Fruitlessness no life giving power

(3) The desire Christ stood and cried saying

John7: 37 In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.

This call came from his heart

His compassion is a moving and of deep concern

He now offers a complete cure

(4) Direction came to us as savior

John 7: 37 In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.

Means faith in Jesus will never be denied

Means forsaking of the world never to be desired

Means following never to be deserted

(5) The drink that satisfies the soul

John 7: 37 In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.

Fullness of Christ in salvation

Faithfulness of Christian service

Finding the linking soul

(6) The durability that secures the saints

John4: 14 But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.

We are complete in Christ when saved

We are conquerors through Christ power in us

We are being conformed to his image for ever

(7) The division that sentences the sinner

John 7: 43 so there was a division among the people because of him.

Don’t believe the word

Not willing to do his will

Unsaved forever without Christ
