Summary: Are Christians ready to live with Christ in Heaven
Good evening how is everyone doing today.
Good I’am glad your during fine Because our subject today is
ARE YOU READY TO DIE
John 10:18 No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again.
This is a touchy subject and I am certain that no one here wants to die.
But the only way that this body can be raised incorruptible is for us to die.
The only way to see Glory is for us to die.
ARE YOU READY TO DIE
I didn’t ask if you wanted to die I asked if you were ready to die.
Is there a way for us to prepare for this?
The way we prepare for death is by living according to what we were created for. If you do not know what that is then I suggest you go to the creator and simply ask what your purpose is.
Living today in accordance to what you were created for is preparation for that Devine day.
Jesus knew his purpose he knew what he was here for as Jesus the man.
John 9:39 And Jesus said, For judgment I am come into this world, that they which see not might see; and that they which see might be made blind.
There are two kinds of death.
1. Physical death, which happens to all people when they stop living.
2. Spiritual death, when people go through life without having a relationship with God and Jesus Christ.
If you’re not already dead(To sin and yourself) are you ready to die
If you are already dead (To sin and yourself) and serving your purpose then you are preparing for Physical Death so that you can live you see eternal life begins when you die.
The Old and New Testaments talk differently about death.
The Old Testament talks mostly about physical death.
The New Testament talks mostly about spiritual death. Jesus Christ’s life on earth included his death , his rising from the dead.
It also tells us that because of Jesus’ death, all people have the chance to live eternally in heaven with God.
Something to look forward to
Death is the natural ending to life and is never viewed as a pleasant experience, but as a sad event that affects people deeply.
We have precondition our self’s to see death as a terrible thing, well if your a child of disobedience it is ( Rev 21:8 ) but as a child of obedience our perception of this en-evitable act must be reconceived.
Death causes people to be cut off from their families and neighbors.
R U Ready to leave that lovely family, your comfort zone and all the things your accustom to
God may offer people comfort in the face of death, but that doesn’t prepare you for it
Death is only an ending of life on earth. It is a threshold to a better life in heaven.
The New Jerusalem, will serve as the home of the saints throughout eternity.
This completes God’s promise to Abraham to give him a land for all those who are victorious” (1 John 5:4-5).
When we die the judgments of the day of the Lord (cf. 2 Peter 3:10-12) will melt into eternal peace for God’s children
When we die God’s presence will form the perfect and eternal tabernacle (cf. Leviticus 26:11-12; Jeremiah 31:33; Ezekiel 37:27; Zechariah 8:8).
When we Die our transformation from glory to glory will be complete (2 Corinthians 3:18; 4:16-18; 5:16-17).
This is a motivating factor for serving our purpose and overcoming the present temptations to deny Christ and his holiness.
Remember he gave up his life so that you can live so its only fitting that we give up our life now so that we can live with him later.
We should love living in Christ and look forward to living with Christ.
Thank you and My God continue to bless you and keep you.
