Are You Ready
Nehemiah 9: 17 And refused to obey, neither were mindful of thy wonders that thou didst among them; but hardened their necks, and in their rebellion appointed a captain to return to their bondage: but thou art a God ready to pardon, gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and forsookest them not.
God is ready to do many things for us if we are ready.
People refuse to obey.
Not mindful of what he has done for us.
We have hardened our necks.
Rebelled on what he has done keeping us safe and free.
Broke all his laws.
1. Ready to pardon.
Ver. 17: : but thou art a God ready to pardon, gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and forsookest them not.
God is very merciful to us
We should be gracious and just praise him.
Thank god he is slow to anger.
His kindness is so great are we all would be dead.
2. Ready to forgive.
Psalms 86: 5 For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive; and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee.
He forgives all our sins.
He shows plenty of mercy to us we do not deserve.
3. Ready to save.
Isaiah 38: 20 The LORD was ready to save me: therefore we will sing my songs to the stringed instruments all the days of our life in the house of the LORD.
Ready to save all who will come to him.
He has salvation for every sinner.
He has joy be on compare.
4. Ready to judge.
1st Peter 4: 5 Who shall give account to him that is ready to judge the quick and the dead.
We will all stand before him.
We will give and account of how we lived.
5. Paul was ready to die.
Acts 21: 13 Then Paul answered, What mean ye to weep and to break mine heart? for I am ready not to be bound only, but also to die at Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.
6. Ready to be offered.
2nd Timothy 4: 6 For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand.
7. Ready to be bound.
