Summary: In any context in which we must work closely with people, we can expect conflict, irritation, inconsistency, and aggravation. It takes discipline to handle them well.
Parents, spouses, alcoholics, druggies, abusive or abused spouses, mooches may often promise that they are going to change. We have all learned the principle of “consider the source.”
Intentions are often sincere when expressed, but setting up a system to make the intentions happen is often the difference.
F. We have a choice in life about what kind of people we are going to be: Are we going to be whiners, complainers, and negative, or are we going to use our tongue to BLESS others.
