1. The Introduction of Apollos

His Persuasion - 24 And a certain Jew named Apollos,

His Preparation - born at Alexandria, (City of Learning)

His Proclamation - an eloquent man, and mighty in the scriptures,

His Participation - came to Ephesus.

2. The Instruction of Apollos

His Education - 25 This man was instructed in the way of the Lord;

His Enthusiasm - and being fervent in the spirit,

His Exposition - he spake and taught diligently the things of the Lord,

His Examination - knowing only the baptism of John.

3. The Indoctrination of Apollos

His Fearlessness - 26 And he began to speak boldly in the synagogue:

His Forthrightness - whom when Aquila and Priscilla had heard,

His Faithfulness - they took him unto them, and

His Finiteness - expounded unto him the way of God more perfectly

His Humility, His Harmony, His Hesitancy, His Honesty.

4. The Integration of Apollos

The Intention - 27 And when he was disposed to pass into Achaia,

The Introduction - the brethren wrote, exhorting the disciples to receive him:

The Inspiration - who, when he was come, helped them much which had believed through grace: for he

The Invigoration 28 mightily convinced the Jews and that publickly

The Instruction - shewing by the scriptures that Jesus was Christ.
