INTRODUCTION
"And Lot sat..." That’s all that has to be said. Just "sitting..." almost cost Lot his own life.
His story is a familar one. Abraham earlier had given Lot a choice and he took it! The problem was, he became all too comfortable, complacent and the lack of caution cost more than he could have imagined.
Look at these intresting facts:
*Sodom was a beautiful place Ge 3:10
*It offered considerable luxury & hedonistic enjoyment Ex 16:49-50
*Had an air of normalcy in the lives of its inhabitnats Lk 17:28
*They had unspeakable behavior and were blatant about their sin Isa 3:9
It cost Lot dearly as sin does us too. Let’s examine it together
