All Things. (Hix)

Romans 8:28-And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.

We are not always sure why things happen in our life, far too many of us have had some horrible events that has happened to us, we have had love ones taken suddenly, and we look around and see others who still have their loves ones, and yet they don’t spend time with them, or the only use them, and we have to wonder why!

Since God knows us better than we know ourselves, He knows what it takes to get us to move, to motivate us, to change us!!

Because I’m afraid, if the truth were known, we get comfortable in our lives, our situations, in our daily routines, and God has to allow things in our life to move us from the place that we are to the place where He wants us to be!!

Sometimes that is in physically sense, sometimes it’s in the spiritual sense, and sometimes it’s both!!

1 Peter 5:10-In his kindness God called you to share in his eternal glory by means of Christ Jesus. So after you have suffered a little while, he will restore, support, and strengthen you, and he will place you on a firm foundation. (NLT)

Remember God is in the perfecting business, and you may not realize it or not, but He is making a better you, and He is using circumstances, trials and tribulation to do it!!

So that one day you will stand before Him, a vessel that has been thru the fire, purged, and useful in the Kingdom of God!!

And not only that, but because of what you have endured, and have been victorious over, others will enter the Kingdom of God because of your witness, your faithfulness!

All Things-Whether is it pain, or suffering, or struggles, disappointments, heartaches, even those frustrations of everyday living, everything is in the plan and purpose of God!!

The problem with that we can see so clearly, how good things can be beneficial to us and others, but we have hard time seeing how bad things can be, especially when we are trying to live for God, when we are trying to do right!

But you notice it says….All things….Not just the good things, not just the positive things, but all things work together for good!!

Work Together- God is creating and eliminating, He is placing and replacing, He is connecting and reconnecting, He is continually controlling and guiding, arrange and influence all the parts and pieces of your life, so that not only will good things work together for you benefit but also to benefit of others!!
