Hierarchy of Herods (v.1 - 6)
James was the 1st apostle (sent one) to be martyred. Stephen was the 1st disciple (follower) to be martyred.
Peter in Prison (v. 7-18)
History belongs to the intercessors - Dr. Walter Wink
Daniel is about an angel at war.
Horrendous Herod (v. 19-25)
Don't call military officers "chamberlain" (an officer who manages the household of a monarch or noble). They probably won't like it. :)
"But the word of the Lord continued to grow and to be multiplied." Verse 24
As we study The Word, we should be excited to do what they did in Acts, too!
