ACCESS TO GOD

James 4: 8Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.

Many times I have cried out to my Lord for help he always answers when I pray it may not be like I wanted but he filled my needs.

1. Provides acquaintance with him

Job 22: 23If thou return to the Almighty, thou shalt be built up, thou shalt put away iniquity far from thy tabernacles.

2. Acquires a knowledge of his ways

Isa.58: 2Yet they seek me daily, and delight to know my ways, as a nation that did righteousness, and forsook not the ordinance of their God: they ask of me the ordinances of justice; they take delight in approaching to God.

3. Secures His listening ears

Matt.6: 9After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.

4. Accomplished By Christ death

Mark 15: 38And the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom.

5. Based On grace through faith

Romans 5: 2By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

6. Mediated through Christ by the spirit

Eph 2: 18For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father.

7. Assured By his word
