Summary: A BELIEVER'S LOVE FOR CHRIST

A WARMER LOVE

OBSERVATION: JEWISH COURTSHIP AND WEDDINGS IN THIS CULTURE WAS EXTENSIVE, ELABORATE AND MEANINGFUL. THIS STUDY ADDRESSES THE LOVE A BELIEVER MUST HAVE FOR CHRIST.

INTERPRETATION: SONG OF SONGS 5:10 (NKJV) THE SHULAMITE WOMAN: MY BELOVED IS WHITE AND RUDDY, CHIEF AMONG TEN THOUSAND. SONG OF SONGS 5:10 (THE BOOK) MY LOVER IS DARK AND DAZZLING, BETTER THAN TEN THOUSAND OTHERS.

THOUGHTS TO PONDER:

NOTICE THE AFFECTION THE SHULAMITE WOMAN HAD FOR THE GROOM.

CHRIST DESERVES A WARMER LOVE FROM BELIEVERS. MANY HEARTS HAVE GROWN COLD AND INDIFFERENT. REMEMBER, HE FIRST LOVED YOU!

CHRIST IS ALTOGETHER LOVELY: WHY WOULD YOU NOT LOVE HIM?

CHRIST EXPRESSED HIS ULTIMATELY LOVE FOR YOU ON CALVARY: SURELY, YOU CAN RECIPROCATE!

CHRIST EXPRESSED HIS LOVE TO YOU DECLARING HE WOULD ALWAYS BE NEAR YOU. MATTHEW 28:20 (NKJV) TEACHING THEM TO OBSERVE ALL THINGS THAT I HAVE COMMENDED YOU; AND LO, I AM WITH YOU ALWAYS, EVEN TO THE END OF THE AGE. AMEN.

JOHN 1:14 (THE BOOK) SO THE WORD BECAME HUMAN AND LIVED HERE ON EARTH AMONG US. HE WAS FULL OF UNFAILING LOVE AND FAITHFULNESS, AND WE HAVE SEEN HIS GLORY, THE GLORY OF THE ONLY SON OF THE FATHER.

APPLICATION: CHRIST IS PERFECT HUMANITY, COMPASSION, HUMILITY, GENTLENESS AND POISE. LOVE HIM CONSUMMATELY!
