A New Beginning Series

Summary: Every child of God has two sides of life one is a personal life, which involves health, career, family, and so on. Secondly, a mission life, a life to give, be a sacrifice and become an aroma of fragrance for Jesus Christ.
Let’s start with our personal life,
No one puts a piece of unshrunk cloth on an old garment; for the patch pulls away from the garment, and the tear is made worse. 17 Nor do they put new wine into old wineskins, or else the wineskins [d]break, the wine is spilled, and the wineskins are ruined. But they put new wine into new wineskins, and both are preserved.” - Matthew 9:16-17
In this Scripture, the disciples of John the Baptist questions Jesus, on the spiritual discipline of his disciples. And the question is "Why your disciples don’t fast? For that Jesus gave the above answer along with other explanations.
The scripture reveals that more than spiritual rituals, understanding the work of God in our life is more important. God has sent his son and he is before them, but they failed to recognize the son's arrival. The disciples of John, Pharisees, and Sadducees all are known for their religiosity. if and only they had an understanding of God's deeds how much it would have benefited?
Many believe that they can get away with this life by performing rituals required in the body of Christ. A new beginning is in the understanding of the works of God in one's life.
Secondly, the work of the devil, while we try to know the work of God in humans, on the other hand, we need to resist the work of the Devil.
Resist the devil and he will flee from you James 4:7
The absence of obedience to God one's life is the presence of evil. King Saul disobeyed God as a result the a tormenting spirit possessed him unto death. God's work in one's life should be clearly understood, he doeesn't make any mistake.
The work of God is to destroy the works of the evil (1 John3:8), and the evil works against us to destroy our very soul. When God is in favour of us, we should hear him, understand his work in our life and respond accordingly. As much as Davis understood, Saul couldn't for did not understand which force working against him.
What about you? DO you understand the power of God as much as you understand the problem in your life. Today is the day to start a new life.
