INTRODUCTION
On this final journey to Jerusalem Jesus went through the city of Jericho. The name Jericho has an intresting meaning, "to smell.."
It may have been given that unual name because of the rose gardens all over the city as well as the balsam, cypress and other fragrant bushes.
As they were leaving Jericho, and as usual a crowd followed with one addition, a blind man name Bartimaeus. He had a determination and desire that wouldn’t go away.
His condition is a picture of mankind without Christ. Let’s examine the story together!
