PSALM 31

❶ Ruin - Trouble - The cry throughout

- v. 9 ... I am in trouble ...

- He talks about the “they”, “them”

v. 10 His greatest enemy is his sin

- “ ... because of mine iniquity ...”

v. 22 - For I said in my haste, I am cut off from before thine eyes

❷ Resolve - v. 1, 6, 14 -“TRUST”

- To trust you have to give yourself over to someone or something

- Note the thou, thy the LORD

❸ Realize - His knowledge of all that his God has become & done

- (rock, defense, fortress, leading, guide, strength, redeemer, position, mercy)

- v.16-18 - His desire — Nothing but God

- v.19 Oh how great is thy goodness ....

- That’s the past

- v. 19 .... which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee; which thou hast wrought for them that trust in thee before the sons of men!
