Summary: Many are excited to follow Jesus but lost Hope when the challenges come. The Christian walk does not avoid the storm, but to pass through it. Till the day the Lord calls us home, he helps us to Live a victorious life over every challenge.
Many are excited to follow Jesus Christ when they receive a miracle in their life. But later they understand, that Christian life is a wilderness journey. Where the believers do not pass by the storm, but they go throw it. It is terrifying to experience but the Lord is near and the victory is for sure. In Deuteronomy 6:18, the Lord commands us to do what is right in this journey so that the believers can take over the promises given to them. In the lives of Abraham, Moses, Joshua, David, and many other faithful went through storms but God helped them to stand firm, as a result, they saw victories in their life.
Just like Israelites, you might be experiencing, near-death experiences, hunger & thirstiness, God's correction & punishment, Mentally & Physically burnout. But except those Israelites who gave up, the faithful ones entered the promised Land. . Later in 1 Kings 8:56, king Solomon exalts God, saying, “Praise be to the Lord, who has given rest to his people Israel just as he promised. Not one word has failed of all the good promises he gave through his servant Moses. The God who called you is faithful, he will fulfill what he promised in this world and in eternity. Know this, God will help you to inherit what he promised to you.
