911 And The Hook

Introduction: On Tuesday, September 11th, 2001, something cataclysmic

and catastrophic happened on that day in America. It was the attack on

the World Trade Center in New York by terrorists. But that’s not all that

happened that day. Something supernatural happened that day that shook the heavens, and that has set-into motion a major thrust towards both the return of the Lord Jesus Christ for His church, and the attempted destruction of Israel. We are living in the last days my friends; we don’t have much time before Jesus returns. It’s time to sound the alarm!

Joel 2:1 (Tree of Life Version) says, “Blow the shofar in Zion! Sound an

alarm on My holy mountain! Let all living in the land tremble—for the day

of Adonai is coming—surely it is near!

The title of my message today is, 911 And The Hook. Let’s Pray.

Now, I want to talk to you about hooks. Did you know that there’s all

different kinds of hooks? There’s Fish hooks – to catch fish. When

Moses built the Temple they made Hooks - Made of silver and hooks of

gold. There are hooks for pruning and hooks used for slaves, there’s

hooks used in construction and there’s tow hooks too. And I’m sure 3

there are many other types of hooks I can’t even think of right now.

There’s even hooks used in movies as well as literature (explain).

God is about to use a hook too – a hook to bring the whole world

(basically) against Israel – and we can see it beginning to happen right

now. Ezekiel 38:4 (Tree of Life Version) says, “I will turn you about and

put hooks into your jaws. I will bring you out, with all your army, horses

and horsemen—all of them splendidly dressed—a vast assembly with

breastplate and shield, all of them wielding swords.”

I. God Is Bringing All Of This Into Being, Right Before Our Eyes!

A. Armies are gathering and planning; world governments are preparing to enter into a one-world government;

1. We are quickly moving into a cashless world-wide society (expound).

B. Everything is being put into place for this all-out world war against

Israel – and it’s happening right now – right before our eyes people!

C. God has had enough! With the sin in this world and with His chosen

people Israel, and with the Church! It’s finally time! God has had it!

1. Listen to the words of 2 Peter 3:8-11. 2 Peter 3:8-11 (The

Scriptures 2009 Bible), “But, beloved ones, let not this one

matter be hidden from you: that with ???? one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. 9 ???? is not slow in regard to the promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward us, not wishing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. 10 But the day of ???? shall come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with intense heat, and the earth and the works that are in it shall be burned up. 11 Seeing all these are to be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be in set-apart behaviour and reverence,”

II. It’s Time For The Church To Rise Up And Repent Of Our Sins And

To Win As Many To Christ As We Possibly Can Before It’s Too Late!

A. America and the world for that matter needs to turn back to God.

It’s time for revival, restoration, and healing! We can’t wait any longer. If we do it’s going to be too late!

B. How do I know this is happening?

? People – good people – deacons, pastors, missionaries, and Christians are fed up with church and are leaving by the 1,000’s. They’re turning their back and going out in the world.

? People of God are under oppression and living in defeat

? Church splits and whole denominations are accepting sin in the pulpits – accepting gays, etc. to be pastors.

? Sickness and diseases are rampant among the saints of God

? Factions causing strife in the church

? Christians not tolerating differences of opinion – even when those opinions are neither right or wrong.

? Friday night fights in Christian homes where moms and dads are fighting constantly or where parents are fighting with their kids.

C. Church! It’s time come to the altar and fall down before our Holy God and repent of your sins! Get your hearts right and put your flesh under subjection and stop yielding to your worldly desires! Start seeking after the things of the Holy Spirit! Put God FIRST in EVERYTHING!

D. Alcohol and drugs are destroying myriads of families and lives by the millions! And don’t forget how many lives have been taken by those who are drunk or high on our highways!
