911 And The Hook
Introduction: On Tuesday, September 11th, 2001, something cataclysmic
and catastrophic happened on that day in America. It was the attack on
the World Trade Center in New York by terrorists. But that’s not all that
happened that day. Something supernatural happened that day that shook the heavens, and that has set-into motion a major thrust towards both the return of the Lord Jesus Christ for His church, and the attempted destruction of Israel. We are living in the last days my friends; we don’t have much time before Jesus returns. It’s time to sound the alarm!
Joel 2:1 (Tree of Life Version) says, “Blow the shofar in Zion! Sound an
alarm on My holy mountain! Let all living in the land tremble—for the day
of Adonai is coming—surely it is near!
The title of my message today is, 911 And The Hook. Let’s Pray.
Now, I want to talk to you about hooks. Did you know that there’s all
different kinds of hooks? There’s Fish hooks – to catch fish. When
Moses built the Temple they made Hooks - Made of silver and hooks of
gold. There are hooks for pruning and hooks used for slaves, there’s
hooks used in construction and there’s tow hooks too. And I’m sure 3
there are many other types of hooks I can’t even think of right now.
There’s even hooks used in movies as well as literature (explain).
God is about to use a hook too – a hook to bring the whole world
(basically) against Israel – and we can see it beginning to happen right
now. Ezekiel 38:4 (Tree of Life Version) says, “I will turn you about and
put hooks into your jaws. I will bring you out, with all your army, horses
and horsemen—all of them splendidly dressed—a vast assembly with
breastplate and shield, all of them wielding swords.”
I. God Is Bringing All Of This Into Being, Right Before Our Eyes!
A. Armies are gathering and planning; world governments are preparing to enter into a one-world government;
1. We are quickly moving into a cashless world-wide society (expound).
B. Everything is being put into place for this all-out world war against
Israel – and it’s happening right now – right before our eyes people!
C. God has had enough! With the sin in this world and with His chosen
people Israel, and with the Church! It’s finally time! God has had it!
1. Listen to the words of 2 Peter 3:8-11. 2 Peter 3:8-11 (The
Scriptures 2009 Bible), “But, beloved ones, let not this one
matter be hidden from you: that with ???? one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. 9 ???? is not slow in regard to the promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward us, not wishing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. 10 But the day of ???? shall come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with intense heat, and the earth and the works that are in it shall be burned up. 11 Seeing all these are to be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be in set-apart behaviour and reverence,”
II. It’s Time For The Church To Rise Up And Repent Of Our Sins And
To Win As Many To Christ As We Possibly Can Before It’s Too Late!
A. America and the world for that matter needs to turn back to God.
It’s time for revival, restoration, and healing! We can’t wait any longer. If we do it’s going to be too late!
B. How do I know this is happening?
? People – good people – deacons, pastors, missionaries, and Christians are fed up with church and are leaving by the 1,000’s. They’re turning their back and going out in the world.
? People of God are under oppression and living in defeat
? Church splits and whole denominations are accepting sin in the pulpits – accepting gays, etc. to be pastors.
? Sickness and diseases are rampant among the saints of God
? Factions causing strife in the church
? Christians not tolerating differences of opinion – even when those opinions are neither right or wrong.
? Friday night fights in Christian homes where moms and dads are fighting constantly or where parents are fighting with their kids.
C. Church! It’s time come to the altar and fall down before our Holy God and repent of your sins! Get your hearts right and put your flesh under subjection and stop yielding to your worldly desires! Start seeking after the things of the Holy Spirit! Put God FIRST in EVERYTHING!
D. Alcohol and drugs are destroying myriads of families and lives by the millions! And don’t forget how many lives have been taken by those who are drunk or high on our highways!
1. Sexual perversion and promiscuity in the church and the world – bringing with it diseases like aids, syphilis etc.
2. Divorce in America is on the rise again – in the world and in the church!
3. Murder and fighting and killing in our streets, in the schools, and just about everywhere!
4. Sex Trafficking - Children being taken and used for man’s sexual pleasures!
5. Rape – child abuse – domestic violence – all are on the rise – both in the church as well as in the world!
E. Something has to happen, and it has to happen NOW! Do you know
what that is? It’s rapture!
III. It’s Time To Sound The Alarm! Jesus Is Coming!
A. Joel 2:1 (Tree of Life Version) says, “Blow the shofar in Zion! Sound
an alarm on My holy mountain! Let all living in the land tremble—for
the day of Adonai is coming—surely it is near!
B. The powers of satan and all of his imps are trying to take over
mankind and the church! But the good news he’s not going to
destroy God’s Holy Church!
1. Listen. The devil is powerful but he’s not all-powerful! In these last days he’s trying to devour every good thing in your life, but, he’s not going to succeed!
2. 1 John 4:4 (A Faithful Version Bible) says, “You are of God, little children, and have overcome them because greater is He Who is in you than the one who is in the world.”
Isaiah 59:19 (NKJV), “So they shall fear the name of the LORD from the west, and His glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall make him flee.”
C. This is our promise of victory! The TRUE BODY OF CHRIST – that
is those that believe and trust in the Lord will never be overcome but
will be the OVERCOMERS BY THE POWER OF THE BLOOD OF
THE LAMB! But we have to sound the alarm! Jesus is coming
(expound).
IV. 911 Sent A Message To The World - - - Prepare Yourself – Jesus Is
Coming! Watch What I Do NEXT!
A. Everything is falling into place; just like God said it would.
1. Israel has returned to its homeland and now God is gathering the armies of the world to come into the valley of Jehoshaphat for punishment of our sins.
2. Joel 3:1-3 (NLT), ““At the time of those events,” says the LORD, “when I restore the prosperity of Judah and Jerusalem, 2 I will gather the armies of the world into the valley of Jehoshaphat. There I will judge them for harming my people, my special possession, for scattering my people among the nations, and for dividing up my land. 3 They threw dice to decide which of my people would be their slaves. They traded boys to obtain prostitutes and sold girls for enough wine to get drunk.” slide
B. Notice it says in Joel that God Himself ???? will gather the armies
of the world (with a hook in their jaws) and drag them into the
valley of Jehoshaphat and it’s there that He will enter into
judgment against them.
1. Look again in verse 3 at what these people did again in
It says, 3 They threw dice to decide which of my people
would be their slaves. They traded boys to obtain prostitutes
and sold girls for enough wine to get drunk.”
C. The Jews have (for the most part) returned to Israel and what
we see going on right now in the Middle East, right before our
eyes, is the preparation for the greatest battle this world has
ever seen. Who’s doing this? God Almighty is doing this. Why?
1. This is God’s plan. China and Russia, along with Iran, Iraq,
Syria, Jordan, Egypt Afghanistan and more are working
towards this war. They’e going to be pulled by God into war.
Why? Because of their sins – terrible, terrible, sins – sins we
don’t even want to speak about, etc.
B. Gas prices are rising; taxes are rising; Economies are failing! All
the pieces of the puzzle appear to lining up for this war.
1. Consequently, we need to be (1) getting our lives in order
and to (2) Declare to everyone the need for Jesus in their
lives!
Conclusion: Do you know what is going to spark this war? I’ll tell you
what I believe is going to spark it. It’s called a catching away or the
Rapture. The Church is gone. It’s vacated this world because Jesus has
come for His Bride. With the Church gone satan can now try to stomp
out the Jews for good. But guess what? It ain’t gonna happen! Why?
Because Israel is and always had been His chosen people and He’s not
going to allow them to be destroyed or displaced ever again!
He’s going to judge the nations but He will preserve Israel - - - - - - - - - - FOREVER!!! And guess what? This all can happen at any moment; maybe right now or today or next week or next year. But let me ask you this my friends:
Are you ready when Jesus comes back? Is your house in order? Are
you ready, I mean ready to meet Jesus? Have you turned away from
what He’s been dealing with you about? This isn’t a time to have
unanswered questions – this is time to make certain you’re saved and
doing all you can in these last days to glorify God!
I’m not trying to scare you today – but I want you to understand where
we are right now in God’s timetable. Ezekiel 3 and 33 calls us to be
watchmen calling out the warning! Our guilt or our innocence rests on
our either declaring or failing to declare what is going on! I’ll tell you
what’s going on. JESUS IS COMING! (expound and close).
