Saved From This Crooked World By The Spirit Of God Series

Topic: THE PROMISE OF THE FATHER pt. 10 (SAVED FROM THIS CROOKED WORLD BY THE SPIRIT OF GOD)

Acts 2:40-41 King James Version (KJV)

40 And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.

41 Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.

Beloved we are living in dangerous and very wicked times where the lives of many are crooked and perversed. We are in a time of liars, murderers, thieves, confident fraudsters, among many other similar characters.

These people walk confidently and comfortably among us everyday and operate without shame. They go ahead and try to lure us into their activities so we assist and work with them for a too good to be true reward.

We are also in a time where everything seems expensive and we need a lot of money to pay bills and also make life liveable. This gives them reasons to put pressure, trying to win you over so you make some extra cash for the excess bills. The unwillingness of employers to increase salaries and other benefits worsens the situation.

Beloved, the only person who can save us from this crooked and wicked world that is so perversed that you can't even breathe the God given air we have for free without losing money or incurring some unforseen or unthinkable cost is *Jesus*.

The only way Jesus would save us is *"He in us and us in Him"*. Beloved, Jesus in us is *Precious Holy Spirit in us* and us in Jesus is *Precious Holy Spirit putting us in Jesus and keeping us there*.

The only way out, the only way to be saved and be able to live a debt free life, not owing anybody in cash or kind or whatsoever and move on peacefully and joyously is to receive the *Promise of the Father* that is: have Precious Holy Spirit in us, with us and upon us always.

Beloved, have a change of mind about this world, how to live in it and how you are living in it. Have a change of mind about your life, who and what it is dedicated to and what takes your worship and praise. Only Jesus deserves all the praise and worship so if He is not getting them all then you need a turn around.

Beloved, give your life to Christ, re-dedicate your life to Him, so that all the crooked paths would be made straight and when you do this you shall surely receive the promise of the Father and *"Jesus in us and us in Him"* would be a living reality for you and you would see the physical manifestation of the glory of God in your life.

Beloved, many people, about three thousand believed this Word about two thousand years ago after the resurrection of Jesus and the coming of Precious Holy Spirit upon the Apostles and disciples of Jesus and they were saved. They got baptised and were added to the disciples of Jesus.

They became liberated, lived a new life and grew stronger in the Lord day in, day out. What about you?

What are you doing now? Think about where you are heading and make a decision now. Jesus is waiting with open arms ready to welcome you despite your faults and errors. Precious Holy Spirit is impatiently waiting to fill you and come upon you to direct you and use you according to the will of God that through you many would be saved.

*IT'S ALL ABOUT JESUS* and no one else. Just look to Jesus now and live. Accept Him as your Lord and personal Saviour and allow Precious Holy Spirit to come and live in your heart for a fulfilled life.

Prayer: Father please help me to look to Jesus and live. That I will wholeheartedly accept Him and allow Precious Holy Spirit to live in my heart forever. In the mighty name of Jesus I pray. Amen.
