Take a minute and meditate on this phrase right now.
Be Still.
This phrase is derived from the Hebrew word "Rapha" which means “to be weak, to let go, to release.” Essentially, it means surrender.
To surrender is to exchange your weakness with His strength. To surrender is to fall on God's grace to run the race of your time.
To surrender is to let God take the wheel. To surrender is to let God think for you. His ways and thoughts are bigger and higher than man's.
We need to surrender our life, will, plans, troubles, pains, sorrows, struggles, conflicts, and every other thing to the Lord. He cares!
The "nation" (heathen) depicts evil forces and the problems of life. When you surrender to God, He will arise and deal with any evil forces and problems that are asking where your God is.
God’s dynamic strength is made perfect in our weakness. When we surrender ourselves, our lives, our will, and our desires, to Him, He can more fully reveal Himself to us and we are more able to fully experience Him.
Can you trust God enough to let go of those things you’re clinging to so tightly?
Pray and surrender your life's battles and problems to Jesus right now...
Shalom Aleichem!
