Summary: John 14:23: Jesus answered him, “If anyone loves me, he will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him.
Love for Christ will lead to Obedience to Christ
Love for Christ will lead you to purity and sanctification in Christ
Love for Christ will lead to likeness to Christ,
Love for Christ will lead to Communion with Christ and in communion with those we love
Love for Christ will lead us to work for Christ
Love for Jesus will lead to sacrifices for Jesus.
Love of Christ will lead us to walk in Spirit and serve one another through love
Love of Christ gives us the fruits of the Holy Spirit which are love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.
Love for Christ leads us to follow and obey Christ.
Love for Christ leads us to loving righteousness and rejecting with all malice, all that is against Him.
Love for Christ leads us to redeem us from a life of sin, heals us, transforms us
Love for Christ leads us to walk in kindness, truth, righteousness, and justice
Love for Christ leads us to be delivered us from bondage, evil, and from Satan’s grips
Love for Christ leads us in our life from curses into blessing
Love for Christ gives us encouragement, hope, and strength
Love for Christ gives us disciplined life for our good, so that we may share in His holiness
Love for Christ gives us the capacity to clothe ourselves with His divine character including compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, patience, forgiveness, and love
Love for Christ gives us a reason to be filled with hope, to feel secure, to expect His help and blessings, to enjoy salvation and abundant life
Love for Christ is to live a life of love, to become more like Him, to live a life of victory over sin and evil.
To love God is to desire Him, to yearn for His righteousness, His Word, and His grace.
Love for Christ guards us against the trap of self-seeking, being selfish, corruptible, self-centered, and Prideful.
Love for Christ brings comfort in affliction, sustains us during hard times, allows us to be an example to others, and offers us hope while we wait.
Love for Christ gives us more peace, divine wisdom, and understanding and lights up the path we should go
Love for Christ makes us acknowledge him in all our ways, and he will make our paths straight.
