Who was Lucifer?

Lucifer, whose name means "morning star" or "light bearer," was a beautiful and powerful angel created by God (Ezekiel 28:12-17). He was a cherubim, a high-ranking angel, and was appointed to guard the Garden of Eden (Genesis 3:24).

What did he do?

Lucifer's sin was pride and rebellion against God. He became proud of his beauty and power, and he desired to be like God, ruling over heaven and earth (Isaiah 14:12-15). He convinced a third of the angels to join him in his rebellion, but they were defeated by God and cast out of heaven (Revelation 12:4).

How was he cast out?

Lucifer and his followers were cast out of heaven and fell to earth (Luke 10:18). He was stripped of his heavenly position and became a fallen angel, known as Satan or the devil.

Where is he now?

Lucifer, now known as Satan, is currently roaming the earth, seeking to destroy humanity and oppose God's plan (1 Peter 5:8). He is the ruler of the kingdom of darkness and is known as the prince of this world (John 12:31).

What is his job?

Satan's job is to tempt and deceive humanity, leading them away from God and into sin (Matthew 4:1-11). He is a liar and a murderer, and his ultimate goal is to destroy humanity and oppose God's plan (John 8:44).

Why didn't God forgive him?

God did not forgive Lucifer because of his pride and unwillingness to repent (1 Timothy 3:6). Lucifer's sin was a grave offense against God's sovereignty, and his rebellion was unforgivable (Matthew 12:31-32).

Where will he end up?

Satan will ultimately be cast into the lake of fire, where he will be tormented day and night forever (Revelation 20:10). He will be joined by the false prophet and the beast, and they will be punished for their rebellion against God (Revelation 20:15).

What will God do to him at the end?
