God Keep Me From Evil That It May Not Grieve Me Series

*DAY 5 OF 11TH HOUR FASTING*

May the peace of the Lord be with you.

Topic: *GOD KEEP ME FROM EVIL THAT IT MAY NOT GRIEVE ME*

Scripture:

1 Chronicles 4:9-10 King James Version (KJV)

9 And Jabez was more honourable than his brethren: and his mother called his name Jabez, saying, Because I bare him with sorrow.

10 And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, *and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me!* And God granted him that which he requested.

Hallelujah Beloved, we give all glory to God. Praise Him this day and worship Him for He is great and holy. Give Him all the thanks for He is good.

There are two Hebrew Words, I will like us to focus on today in the text above. They are *"âsâh"* which is translated as *"keep"* in the text above and also means *"to make or do, to take charge of and to accomplish"*. The second is *"âtsab"* which is translated as *"grieve"* in the text above and also means *"to fashion, fabricate, vex, anger, worship, to cause pain, torture, hurt and to copy"*

Beloved Jabez prayed for the Lord to mould Him into His own perfection and take charge of Him and protect Him from every evil or bad or dangerous or negative thing or spirit or man or creation that will hurt him, torture him, anger him, fashion him into a different person against what God has made or want him to be, influence him to worship the wrong gods and spirits to lead him astray to miss the glory of God and become a slave to that evil.

We are praying that:

1. God fashion me into your perfection and accomplish with me my request;

2. God take total charge of me and all I am made of and all connected to me and protect us against all and every kind of evil or wrong that I may not go astray but follow you to the end.

3.God don't allow any evil to come my way and change me to be what you don'twant me to be to lead me astray and cause me to lose your glory.

Beloved, *IT'S ALL ABOUT JESUS* and no one else. May we submit to Jesus and be committed to Him by going to Him and believing in Him so we live in Him and Him in us to be free from evil, in the mighty name of Jesus.

Prayer: Daddy, keep me and all connected to me that no evil may grieve us. Daddy I pray that, increase my faith and cause me to have supernatural faith in Jesus and all things concerning you. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
