Opening:

Three days had passed. Hope seemed buried in a borrowed tomb. But on the third day, heaven broke silence. The stone was rolled away. Jesus stood—not as a ghost, not as a memory—but as Living Proof.

1. The Proof: Jesus Appears in the Flesh

Luke 24:36–43 (NASB 1995):

"Now while they were telling these things, He Himself suddenly stood in their midst and said to them, ‘Peace be to you.’ But they were startled and frightened, and thought that they were looking at a spirit. And He said to them, ‘Why are you frightened, and why are doubts arising in your hearts? See My hands and My feet, that it is I Myself; touch Me and see, because a spirit does not have flesh and bones as you plainly see that I have.’ And when He had said this, He showed them His hands and His feet. While they still could not believe it because of their joy and astonishment, He said to them, ‘Have you anything here to eat?’ They served Him a piece of broiled fish; and He took it and ate it in front of them."

2. The Purpose: Forgiveness and New Life

Romans 4:25 (NASB 1995):

"He who was delivered over because of our wrongdoings, and was raised because of our justification."

The resurrection confirms the sacrifice was accepted and our sins forgiven.

3. The People: The Reward of His Suffering

Revelation 5:9–10 (NASB 1995):

"And they sang a new song, saying, ‘Worthy are You to take the scroll, and to break its seals; for You were slaughtered, and You purchased people for God with Your blood from every tribe, language, people, and nation. You have made them into a kingdom and priests to our God, and they will reign upon the earth.'"

Closing Reflection:

The cross proves His love. The empty tomb proves His power. The question is, will you live in the fullness of what He died and rose to give you?

Final Charge:

He is risen! He is alive! Now go live as His reward, His witnesses, and His beloved.
