ARE WE LEAVING MORE THAN A TOMBSTONE?... What about the dash?

GOD WANTS TO BLESS YOU! HE IS A REWARDER --- BE BLESSED!BLESSED

By Wade Martin Hughes, Sr. Kyfingers@aol.com

This is part two of a two part series.

VI. GOD GAVE AN ORDER FROM HEADQUATERS TO BLESS GOD’S PEOPLE!

WE MUST VERBALLY RELEASE GOD’S PLAN TO BLESS US.

A. YOUR WORDS WILL RELEASE A POSITIVE OR NEGATIVE FUTURE FOR OTHERS.

Numbers 6:22 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,

23 Speak unto Aaron and unto his sons, saying, On this wise ye shall bless the children of Israel, saying unto them,

24 The Lord bless thee, and keep thee:

25 The Lord make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee:

26 The Lord lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.

27 And they shall put my name upon the children of Israel; and I will bless them.

B. GOD SHOWS VERY EARLY IN THE HISTORY OF MAN THAT HE LOVES TO BLESS HIS PEOPLE.

C. DO YOU KNOW THE FIRST BLESSING IN THE BIBLE?

Genesis 1:22 And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the

waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth.

D. WE STILL OPERATE UNDER THIS MANDATE!

Genesis 1:28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply,

and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and

over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

VII. IF? --- THEN ? --- GOD’S BLESSINGS ARE CONDITIONAL --- WILL WE SPEAK GOOD THINGS INTO OTHERS? WE MUST SPEAK POSITIVE BLESSINGS!

A. WE LAUNCH THE POWER OF THE NEGATIVE?

B. We must have a balanced outlook on this.

A person says, I AM FAT, MY MOM WAS FAT, MY KIDS ARE FAT?

A dad tells his son, YOU ARE STUPID AND LAZY!

ANOTHER KID WILL END UP ON DRUGS AND PREGANANT?

D-I-V-O-R-C-E --- can become open discussion until the spouse says: GO AHEAD, I DON’T CARE?

Leviticus 26:3 If ye walk in my statutes, and keep my commandments, and do them;

4 Then I will give you rain in due season, and the land shall yield her increase, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit.

Leviticus 26:8 And five of you shall chase an hundred, and an hundred of you shall put ten thousand to flight: and your enemies shall fall before you by the sword.

Leviticus 26:12 And I will walk among you, and will be your God, and ye shall be my people.

VIII. SOMETHING IS VERY WRONG IF IT SEEMS LIKE HEAVEN IS AS IRON AND EARTH IS AS BRASS!

A. IF YOU DO NOT LIKE WHAT YOU ARE GETTING --- YOU MUST CHANGE WHAT YOU ARE GIVING.

Leviticus 26:14 But if ye will not hearken unto me, and will not do all these commandments;

15 And if ye shall despise my statutes, or if your soul abhor my judgments, so that ye will

not do all my commandments, but that ye break my covenant:

Leviticus 26:19 And I will break the pride of your power; and I will make your heaven as iron, and your earth as brass:

B. MAY WE RELEASE WORDS THAT BRING GOD’S PLANS OF BLESSING.

IX. GOD IS A REWARDER! THERE IS A PAY DAY AT THE END OF THE ROAD!

WE MUST PRESS ON AND ENDURE THE TESTING PROCESS!

A. REWARD:

SOMETHING THAT IS GIVEN IN RETURN FOR GOOD OR EVIL.

A stimulus administered for following a correct or desired response that increase the probability of occurrence again.

Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

B. GOD IS NOT SLACK CONCERNING HIS PROMISES, BUT BLESSINGS CAN BE DELAYED!

Hebrews 6:14 Saying, Surely blessing I will bless thee, and multiplying I will multiply thee.

15. And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise.

X. WE MUST ARISE ABOVE THE FORKED TONGUE, NEGATIVE MUST GIVE WAY TO THE PROMISE.

A. Will we make the choice to not speak one thing and act in a different way?

James 3:8 But the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison.

9 Therewith bless we God, even the Father; and therewith curse we men, which are made after the similitude of God.

10 Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be.

11 Doth a fountain send forth at the same place sweet water and bitter?

12 Can the fig tree, my brethren, bear olive berries? either a vine, figs? so can no fountain both yield salt water and fresh.
