Summary: Trusting God is one of the most challenging aspect of life especially when circumstances are very tough to handle.

Learning to trust God is one of the greatest challenge that we have to take in our lives. Many have refused giving their lives to Him

because it takes absolute surrender in having a true relationship with Him. Even those who have already given their lives to God had been struggling in faithfully trusting Him in every situation. Trusting Him is even more tested when we are confronted with a tough and difficult situation.

Trusting God Is Possible If We…

( Learning To Trust God Through Psalms 23)

A. Seek to Know His Character

“The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not be in want”

( Psalms 23:1 )

B. Understand His Intentions For Us

“He makes me lie down in green pastures, He leads me beside quite waters, He restores my soul. He guides me in paths of righteousness for His name sake”

( Psalms 23: 2-3 )

C. Discover His Ability To Care For Us

“Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil for you are with me; Your rod and your staff, they comfort me” ( Psalms 23: 4 )

D. Comprehend The Richness Of His Provision For Us

“You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows” ( Psalms 23: 5 )

E. Perceive The Benefits Of Trusting Him

“Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life and I will dwell in the house of the Lord Forever”

( Psalms 23: 6 )

We Trust God Even Through Tough Times When We….

(1) Surrender our lives to Him even if it takes for Him in changing us.

“The Lord is my Shepherd..”

( PSALMS 23:1)

(2) Depend on God in all situations through prayer.

“Do not be anxious about anything but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving present your request to God”

( PHILIPPIANS 4:6-7 )

(3) Patiently wait for His answer as we meditate and apply His Word .

“Yes Lord, walking in the ways of your laws, we wait for you”

( ISAIAH 26:8 )
