WHAT CAN I DO TO SOFTEN THE IRON EARTH AND THE BRASS HEAVENS?

1. IDENTIFY THE PROBLEM

2. ACKNOWLEDGE THE PROBLEM

AND acknowledge GOD AS THE SOLUTION.

3. CONFESS.

4. REPENT.

5. CORRECT AND CHANGE.

We have a PROMISE.

Why do the heavens appear as brass and the earth as iron?

I want to ponder brass heavens, and an iron earth.

Again, our text will be:

Deut.28:23, And thy heaven that is over thy head shall be brass, and the earth under thee shall be iron.

Our conclusion will be drawn from Psalms 107:15 Oh that men would praise the Lord for His goodness, and for His wonderful works to the children of men! 16. For He hath broken the gates of brass, and cut the bars of iron in sunder.

#1. WE HAVE A PROMISE.

God promised us: John 14:13. And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14. If you shall ask anything in my Name, I will do it.

God has a promise, it is extended unto us.

We should be very bold and reach out and share God’s promises with others. We must learn how to be open to God and His Word.

Psalms 107:20, HE SENT HIS WORD, AND HEALEDED AND DELIVERED FROM THEIR DESTRUCTIONS.

Notice there is a "S" on destruction, it is plural.

All the enemy’s designs must have a way of escape, else he cannot use them.

Will we receive the promise?

Will we receive the Word?

#2. WE HAVE A REACTION CHOICE.

We can bury our head in the sand?

We can deny or ignore any

problems?

We can look for earthly solutions? Do the following?

STRESS RELIEF KIT

A) TAKE THIS PAGE, ATTACH IT TO A VERY HARD SURFACE,

LIKE A CONCRETE WALL.

===>0<===

B) BANG YOUR HEAD ON THE 0 UNTIL ALL STRESS IS GONE,

OR YOU ARE UNCONSCIOUS?

There is a better way than this.

God has a plan.

We need to submit to "HIS WAY."

But one secret must be revealed, we must see we are a product of our own choices.

IF YOU DO NOT LIKE WHAT YOU ARE GETTING; YOU MUST CHANGE WHAT YOU ARE GIVING.

Today you can submit and change and make a better world.

You may think to the world you are just one person, but to one person you might be the world!

#3 WE HAVE A DUTY OF SELF EXAMINATION.

Many this day face the brass heaven and the iron earth and they are blind, willfully blind, and walk in needless ditches.

Psa. 26:2 Examine me, O Lord, and prove me; try my reigns (direction, control, check, guide) and my heart (motives).

All individuals that achieve God’s purpose must develop a system of evaluation that clearly identifies our strengths and our weaknesses.

We need a closer look at our hearts and the motives behind our actions.

Without a system to determine our progress, fitness, knowledge, programs, worship, praise, and depth in the Word, we shall stay perpetual babies focused on self satisfaction.
