Summary: Heaven prepares to pour out the bowls of God's wrath

John sees another sign in heaven and its seven angels with seven plagues with which the wrath of God will be complete. We then see something like a sea of glass mingled with fire and those who have the victory over the beast, over his image, and his mark, and his name standing on the sea of glass worshipping God. And they sing the song of Moses; the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb saying, "Great and marvelous are Your works, Lord God Almighty! Just and true are Your ways, O king of saints! Who shall not fear You, O Lord and glorify Your name? For You alone are holy, for all nations shall come and worship before You for Your judgments have been manifested."

After these things, John looks and the temple of the tabernacle of the testimony was opened. And out of the temple came seven angels having the seven plagues, clothed in pure bright linen, and having their chests girdled with golden bands. Then one of the four living creatures gave to the seven angels seven bowls full of the wrath of God who lives forever and ever. The temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God and from His power, and no one was able to enter the temple until the seven plagues of the seven angels were completed.

As we can see, heaven is preparing to pour out the final judgments of God. As hard as it is to believe, there will still be people who are undecided as to whether they want to accept Jesus or not. But it's obvious that there are two main groups of people mentioned here. Those who have accepted Jesus and those who have chosen to follow the Antichrist and take his mark. But the good news is despite all the persecution and martyrdom, there will be tribulation saints who will survive the horrible seven years of God's wrath.

Meanwhile in heaven, the angels are handed the bowls containing the wrath of God and the glory of God is so strong that nobody can enter the temple until the judgments are complete. Wow! What a sight and experience it will be for those in heaven! To have the glory and smoke so strong that they can't enter the temple for a time. Being in God's presence is the best place to be. I love His presence and love seeing the miracles and wonders that occur. In heaven, we will be in His presence forever. The very thought that the glory of God Himself is so strong during this time that nobody can enter the temple tells us even more of God's character. Wow!
