The Spirit Of God, Our Binding Agent In The Body Of Christ Series

Topic: THE PROMISE OF THE FATHER pt. 11c (THE SPIRIT OF GOD, OUR BINDER IN THE BODY OF CHRIST)

Acts 2:42-44 King James Version (KJV)

42 And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.

43 And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles.

44 And all that believed were together, and had all things common;

Beloved, the Word says, they had all things in common. Which means they pooled everything together sold what they had to sell then had enough to take care of everybody's needs. So no one lacked or needed and didn't get.

Beloved, i love these early Christians. They were all ready to be there for eachother. They sacrificed their possessions and all they had to make sure everybody was ok.

Beloved they were together. They had unity among them. They loved eachother and supported eachother. Due to this love they shared, they grew together and they therefore had a united and powerful front together to so mighty works for God.

Beloved, individuals didn't struggle to make their own money to build mansions, buy donkeys and camels and live luxuriously. They wanted to get so much so that all those who didn't have would get as much as they wanted.

Beloved, this is the kind of unity Jesus prayed for, for us in the Book of John, the chapter seventeen. We are missing this kind of unity today in the church.

Now in our churches it is "each one for himself, God for us all". We have become so individualistic and self centred. We don't care about those suffering and those not making it. We leave them to suffer and act as though we have no help for them when actually we have it in abundance.

Beloved, I urge you, make a new friend in church the next time you are there; with someone you can see needs help and help the person. Not as a favour but as your Christian duty. Begin to build a base of friends in this category and see the help you will be able to give out by the end of the year.

Beloved the reason this love and unity is lost in our midst as Chriatians today is because Precious Holy Spirit has been relegated to the background. He is not a focus for us to invite readily into our midst.

We lack the spirituality of our Charismatic forefathers. We don't put into practise what builds and maintains our spirituality. We are just living and living by chance. We are empty on this earth.

The Spirit of God is the only binding agent that can hold the family of Christians on this earth together but if we have relegated Him to the background, how does He hold us together?

Beloved we need Precious Holy Spirit, we need Him to hold us together, we need Him to minister to us concerning our needs and the help to give out. We need to know what to bring, what to say or do and what not to get involved in.

Bring Precious Holy Spirit back into the church and into individual lives. Nothing can replace Him in our lives so if you have replaced Him, get rid of that replacement and get Precious Holy Spirit back where He belongs in the church and in your lives.

Without Precious Holy Spirit we are doomed because the devil will strike and break us down, he would steal, kill and destroy us and we would have no defence because we have sacked our chief of security and all His army.

Get Precious Holy Spirit back where He belongs.

*IT'S ALL ABOUT JESUS* and no one else. Beloved follow Jesus step by step and you would realise, He took no step without Precious Holy Spirit. Be like minded as Jesus, get back Precious Holy Spirit into your life and the church and you will see the change of events and the manifestation of the physical glory of God in your life and the church.

Prayer: Father may your Spirit take over the church and prevail in Jesus name. Amen.
