Your Faith Provision-I—Josh. 14:6-15
Caleb’s faith was granted God’s special provision.
Personal faith is granted God’s special provision.
When does personal faith warrant God’s provision?
4 traits/features of a personal faith that holds/warrants God’s attention/provision.
1—Faith that warrants God’s attention & provision is
A Bold Faith(:6)
Explanation:(:6)
“Then the sons of Judah drew near to Joshua in Gilgal, & Caleb the son of Jephunneh the Kenizzite said to him,...”
“Drew near to Joshua”
God moves the entire nation specifically thru Joshua.
Never to be approached lightly/selfishly.
Argumentation:
Heb. 11:1-2—“Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. For by it the men of old gained approval.”
Heb. 4:16—“Let us therefore draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy & may find grace to help in time of need.”
Eph. 3:11—“This was in accordance with the eternal purpose which He[God] carried out in Christ Jesus our Lord, in whom we have boldness & confident access through faith in Him.”
Heb. 10:21-22—“...& having a High Priest over the house of God, let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience & our bodies washed with pure water.”

Application:
?You have a Bold Faith?
?Does your Faith warrant/hold God’s Attention & Provision?
2—Personal faith that is awarded God’s provision is
An Alluring/Enticing Faith(:6)
Explanation:(:6)Infectious/Compelling/ Attracting
“The sons of Judah drew near”
All the progeny of Judah stood with Caleb
Allure/Attract/Compel
Hos. 2:14-16—““Therefore, behold, I will allure her, Bring her into the wilderness, And speak kindly to her. “Then I will give her her vineyards from there, And the valley of Achor as a door of hope. And she will sing there as in the days of her youth, As in the day when she came up from the land of Egypt. “And it will come about in that day,” declares the LORD, “That you will call Me Ishi And will no longer call Me Baali.”
CONVINCE—Mental assent
Acts 1:3—“To these He[Jesus] also presented Himself alive, after His suffering, by many convincing proofs, appearing to them over a period of forty days, & speaking of the things concerning the kingdom of God.”
CONVICT—Assent of the Will
Rom. 14:22—“The faith which you have, have as your own conviction before God. Happy is he who does not condemn himself in what he approves.”—Convictions either free or condemn us.
Argumentation:
Lk. 14:16-24—:23—“And the master said to the slave, ‘Go out into the highways & along the hedges, & compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.”
Lk. 9:2, 5—“And He sent them out to proclaim the kingdom of God, & to perform healing.”....“And as for those who do not receive you, as you go out from that city, shake off the dust from your feet as a testimony against them.”
Lk. 10:8-11—“And whatever city you enter, & they receive you, eat what is set before you; & heal those in it who are sick, & say to them, ‘The kingdom of God has come near to you.’ “But whatever city you enter & they do not receive you, go out into its streets & say, ‘Even the dust of your city which clings to our feet, we wipe off in protest against you; yet be sure of this, that the kingdom of God has come near.’”
2Cor. 4:6-7—“For God, who said, “Light shall shine out of darkness,” is the One who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ. But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the surpassing greatness of the power may be of God & not from ourselves;”
Faith must Allure NOT the vessel!
*Faith that allures is faith that proclaims God.

Application:
?You have an Alluring Faith?...
...One that Allures others to God’s love thru Jesus?
?Does your Faith warrant/hold God’s Attention & Provision?
3—Personal faith that is awarded God’s provision is
A FeastingFaith(:6)
Explanation:(:6) Promise/Replenish/Feast
“...“You know the word which the LORD spoke to Moses the man of God concerning you & me in Kadesh-barnea.”
To Continually draw strength from.
More than nutrition but personal encouragement & soul satisfaction
Argumentation:
Jn. 4:31-34—“In the meanwhile the disciples were requesting Him, saying, “Rabbi, eat.” But He said to them, “I have food to eat that you do not know about.” The disciples therefore were saying to one another, “No one brought Him anything to eat, did he?” Jesus *said to them, “My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me, & to accomplish His work.”
