I've made quite a number of repetitions here please bare with me, trying to drive what I'm saying home. The "*" highlight the points I want to emphasise. Every believer wants to live in total obedience to God and His instructions and commandments, we want the fruits of righteousness to be displayed in our lives, we want to live holy and in Intimacy with God but we sometimes go about it the wrong way and find ourselves "doing" instead of yielding to His power in us so that we can authentically "be" and let it naturally manifest in us.

We already are the righteousness of God in Christ but His righteousness in us has to be revealed. It's not enough to have the title there has to be a manifestation. Jesus Is The Righteousness in us, Christ in us the hope of glory, so only He can "do" works of righteousness. We "do" by believing in our Righteousness Jesus and He by His power manifests acts of righteousness. It's by His power that we consistently manifest fruits of righteousness, that we bear fruit and fruit that lasts. We get excited when we read about giving, loving God and people and think because we are born again we can go out and love and give faithfully, but then we fall short when someone makes us angry and the love that we thought we would go out and express isn't manifested in that moment and disappointment follows sometimes followed by doubt and unbelief of scripture.

Jesus made it clear without Him we can do absolutely nothing that's worth doing. It's by believing in Him that His power to "do" is manifested in us. We yield to His Love inside us through close and personal relationship with Him and His Love flows out of us as rivers of living water. When we believe and confess Jesus The Word we see His righteousness revealed in us and we will "know Him" like scripture says. It's the righteousness of faith, the righteousness that's revealed by believing He is Who He says He is. The Lord throughout The Old Testament told the Israelites to hear His Voice and DO His commandments but they always missed it because they didn't have it themselves to consistently *do* and with the absolute effectiveness God required of them so they backslid time and time again. It's only by Jesus that we consistently "do" because it's only by His power that anything gets done Jesus said "but for Me you can *do* nothing." The righteousness of faith doesn't "do" it "speaks",

Have a look at these scriptures; Deutronomy 30:10 "10If thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to keep his commandments and his statutes which are written in this book of the law, and if thou turn unto the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul. 11For this commandment which I command thee this day, it is not hidden from thee, neither is it far off. 12It is not in heaven, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go up for us to heaven, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, *and do it?* 13Neither is it beyond the sea, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go over the sea for us, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, *and do it?* 14But the word is very nigh unto thee, in thy mouth, and in thy heart, *that thou mayest do it.*" verse 10 is the same commandments The Lord gave the Israelites throughout The Old Testament which was to hear His Voice and obey His commandments but the Israelites always missed it, but then verse 11 personifies the commandment and says the commandment is neither in Heaven so we can pull it down to us and do it, neither is it in the sea that we should pull it up to us and do it, but it says in verse 14 The Word Jesus is near us, in our hearts and in our mouth. It's about doing His commandments consistently and Roman's 10 which is similar to Deutronomy 30:10 explains how we do His commandments. Romans 10:4 "4For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth." Jesus is the end of the law to everyone who believes because He IS the fulfillment of the law in Him is the fullness of every requirement of the law, so like the scripture says its by believing in Jesus that the requirements of the law are fully met that's why Paul says Roman's 3:31 "Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law." The law is established in us when we believe in The Only One in Whom is completeness and fulness, Jesus.
