Scripture – Luke 15:28-32 (Good News Translation):
28The older brother was so angry that he would not go into the house; so his father came out and begged him to come in. 29But he spoke back to his father, "Look, all these years I have WORKED for you LIKE A SLAVE, & I have NEVER DISOBEYED your orders. What have you given me? Not even a goat for me to have a feast w/ my friends! 30But this SON OF YOURS wasted ALL YOUR PROPERTY on prostitutes, and when he comes back home, you kill the prize calf for him!’ 31"My SON,’ the father answered, "you are always here with me, and EVERYTHING I HAVE IS YOURS. 32But we had to celebrate and be happy, because your brother was dead, but now he is alive; HE WAS LOST, BUT NOW HE HAS BEEN FOUND’ "
2 Kinds of a SERVANT
***SLAVE Servant (Laborer)
***Serving as a SON (Partner)
Difinition of “SERVANT” (Accd’g to Webster’s Bible Dictionary):
- One who serves, or does services, VOLUNTARILY or on COMPULSION;
- A person who is employed by another and is subject to his COMMAND;
- A person who labors or exerts himself for the BENEFIT OF ANOTHER, his master.

I. POSSESION through CHRIST.
Verse 29: "Look, all these years I have WORKED for you LIKE A SLAVE, and I have NEVER DISOBEYED your orders. What have you given me?Not even a goat for me to have a feast with my friends!
“DISCOVER who you really are!”
Ephesians 1:11, “Because of Christ, WE HAVE RECEIVED AN INHERITANCE from God, for HE CHOSE US FROM THE BEGINNING, and all things happen just as HE DECIDED LONG AGO.”

Galatians 3:16,26,29: “16God gave the PROMISE to Abraham and HIS CHILD. And notice that it doesn’t say the promise was to his children, as if it meant many descendants. But the promise was to HIS CHILD -- and that, of course, means CHRIST. 26So YOU ARE ALL CHILDREN OF GOD through FAITH in Christ Jesus 29And now that YOU BELONG TO CHRIST, you are the TRUE CHILDREN OF ABRAHAM. You are his HEIRS, and now ALL THE PROMISES GOD GAVE TO HIM BELONG TO YOU.”
“You are a CHILD of GOD! DECLARE your RIGHTS (No way Devil It’s mine!). It all belongs to you. ”
Exodus 1:12(KJV), “But the more they afflicted them, the more they MULTIPLIED & GREW…
-----Joseph was dead! Yet they continued to STAND in the PROMISE of God to Abraham.
“DISCOVER what you have! You have the FAVOR (Gracious Hand) of God.”
In verse 22 of Luke 15, “Bring the finest ROBE in the house and put it on him.”

“You have been CLOTHED w/ POWER and ABILITY! You are WELL ABLE!”
Luke 24:49(Young’s Translation), “And, lo, I do send the PROMISE of my Father upon you, but ye – ABIDE ye IN THE CITY of Jerusalem till ye be CLOTHED with power from on high.”
------Jesus PROMISED the HOLY SPIRIT to be our HELPER, TEACHER, DEFENDER, etc…
“The HOLY SPIRIT will TEACH you in ALL THINGS. So don’t leave your house w/o you ROBE. The HOLY SPIRIT serves as your SIGNAL and TRANSMITTER to KNOW the WISDOM of GOD. It is your PASSWORD to unlock the MYSTERIES of GOD’s PLAN.
It was GIVEN, so you might KNOW the THINGS that was FREELY GIVEN to you.” Amen!
