# 1- THE SEVEN JUDGMENTS JOHN 5:22-23 7-26-08
Today we’ll began a study on the 7 judgments we find in the Bible. Many of the lost people think that there’s only one judgment, “if there’s any judgment at all”.
And others might think that when they die that God will weigh their good deeds against their bad and the one that out weighs the other will determine where they will go, to heaven or to hell.
So I want us to see what the Bible says about it. We’ll try and talk about all 7 of these judgments and the order that their in, we may be here for a few broadcast so I hope you’ll try and listen to all of them.
The seven judgments are referred to as:
#1-{the judgment of sin,} this took place on the cross of Christ.
-#2- { self-judgment of our daily sins}, after we’re saved.
#3- {the judgment seat of Christ}, where all that are saved will be judged for our stewardship, our works after we were saved, this is just after the rapture of the Church}-
And #4-{-the judgment of Israel, Jacobs Trouble, Jer. 7:30}, “name-Gen.32:28--35:10” and this has to do with the Tribulation period.
-#5-{the judgment of the nations}, this takes place after Christ returns and has defeated His enemies at Armageddon, at the end of the 7 year Tribulation, but just prier of Him setting up His Kingdom, the 1000 year reign of Christ.
-#6-the judgment of the fallen angels}-
And #7 is of coarse, {the White Throne judgment}, this is when all the lost souls are brought out of hell and judged according to their wickedness, and according to the degree of their wickedness be tormented in the lake of fire, there’ll be different degrees of punishments for these lost people, that good neighbor most of us know, he died without ever being saved will go there. all are cast into the lake of fire, the morally good people** that never was saved, but died without Christ as their Savior will wind up in the lake of fire, the wicked people such as Hitler and all other extremely mean and wicked people will receive a more sever punishment, According to Rev.20: the record books will be opened as a testimony against these poor lost souls.} Rev.20: 12 & 15 12And I saw the dead, small and great, **stand before God; and the books were opened:** and another book was opened, which is the book of life:** and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.-- And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.**
Acts 10:34--that God is no respecter of persons:
We will try and talk about each of these judgments and the order in which they come as we study each of the 7 judgments.
JUDGMENT #1-- THE JUDGMENT OF SIN:
Listen as I read our text today found in John 5:
22For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son: 23That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. --
The judgment of sin; the damning sin that sends people to hell, we find out where this sin originated in Rom.5:12 12Wherefore, as by one man** sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:
Jesus making a reference to His death on the cross said in John 12: 30-31 Jesus answered and said, 31Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out. 32And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.
This ONE sin has brought death to the entire human race, this sin calls for death by a Holy AND Righteous God, and it was this way in the O.T. as well as the N.T.
EZK.18:4 4Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die.
ROM.6: 23 For the wages of sin is death;
Rom. 5:8-9 8But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. 9Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him-
Jesus Christ paid this terrible wage, “price” for all man kind on the cruel cross of Calvary, He didn’t have to pay it but He did, because He loves all mankind, God don’t want any one to go to hell and they don’t have to go, He has made it possible for all men the world over to be redeemed **and brought back into fellowship with Him, to be his child, a member of His Royal Family.
