1 Behold, how good and how pleasant it is

For brethren to dwell together in unity!

2 It is like the precious oil upon the head,

Running down on the beard,

The beard of Aaron,

Running down on the edge of his garments.

3 It is like the dew of Hermon,

Descending upon the mountains of Zion;

For there the Lord commanded the blessing—

Life forevermore.

Unity always brings fellowship, and in fellowship we have communication, and in communication we create special treasure, most precious to the Lord.

The fact is, we will never always agree on how some things should be done, but in order to create special treasure we must choose to put aside our different ways of doing things and focus on the one key element. To speak ~to share ~ to Shout ~ and to worship Him! For in so doing we create treasure.

We can’t get into this deep sharing of the heart with one another unless we allow unity to have its way with us. Unity is a choice and we know that according to Psalm 133 it causes God to command a blessing.

It how we talk about HIM..

The Lord thinks so much of our speaking with one another and sharing about His ways, that he has a special book where all our conversations are recorded. Your conversations with your brothers and sisters are considered special jewels. The Lord loves to hear His children speaking about Him! And His wonderful acts of love. That’s why the enemy is always trying to separate believers, because there is a key in unity. If he can keep us apart he won’t have to think about all the treasures our words are building.

Luk 6:45 a“A *good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good; and an evil man out of the evil 1treasure of his heart brings forth evil. For out bof the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks.

The church family is called a great treasure

Matthew 13: 45: Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant looking for fine pearls.

God’s real treasures are not to be found in a bank or in a safety deposit box or in bricks and mortar. His real treasure is beside you, your brother or your sister. WE ARE WALKING Treasures …. Jewels set apart for Him.

Eph 3:15-17 (Amplified New Testament)

For Whom every family in heaven and on earth is named [that Father from Whom all fatherhood takes its title and derives its name].

16 May He grant you out of the rich treasury of His glory to be strengthened and reinforced with mighty power in the inner man by the [Holy] Spirit [Himself indwelling your innermost being and personality].

17 May Christ through your faith [actually] dwell (settle down, abide, make His permanent home) in your hearts! May you be rooted deep in love and founded securely on love,

HIS PURPOSE

An Army of God

A key to the Kingdom of God is the Church – ecclesia

The word 'church' in the New Testament is translated from the Greek word 'ekklesia' which comes from two words 'ek' meaning 'out' and 'kaleo' meaning to 'call.' An ekklesia or 'calling out' was not just an assembly. The words agora and paneguris as well as heorte, koinon, thiasos, sunagoge and sunago can all mean an assembly. The word ekklesia was a political term, not a religious term. Jesus was the King and the Bible used the term ekklesia for a good reason. In classical Greek "ekklesia" meant "an assembly of citizens summoned by the crier, the legislative assembly."

Since, the authority of the State in Israel was originally in the hands of the elders of each family they did not usually gather together to overthrow the corruption of government since they were the government. The heads of every household were the princes of Israel, which was a government of the people, for the people and by the people, under the God of Heaven as long as they remained faithful to Him. But once the voice of the people sought a king who appointed officers over them from the top down the need for an ekklesia steadily grew.
