#1~ GOD BIBLE DOCTRINE 6-9-12
Today Lord willing we'll begin a new study, by Gods grace and help we're going to talk about various Bible doctrines, "Bible doctrine" means "Bible teaching".
There are a lot of things that are preached and taught today that are not taught in the Bible, therefore they are man made and much of the time "denominational doctrines or teachings", let me say that if what is being preached or taught is not from the WORD OF GOD, not only is the speaker wasting his time but is wasting the listeners time as well and will have to answer for such at the judgment.
--------
Galatians 1: 8-9 though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
9As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.
Ephesians 4:14 that we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, (teaching) by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;--
Let me say too that what ever I might say on any subject is not the last and final word on the matter either, however there are many subjects in the bible that I am settled on and nothing or no one can change my mind on the matter.
-------
Before we get into the various doctrines that we find in the Bible we first of all must be settled on the fact that GOD is real, that in it's self is the major bible doctrine, if we are not believers in the fact that God is, then nothing else will matter, if there is no God then there can not be any thing else in the Bible that's true, are you settled in your heart that God is real or are you unsure?
--------
Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
What is known as Christian theology is really "a discourse about God and divine things." It is a must to believe that God is, and that the Bible is His Word before we can get into its teaching on any other subject.
For example, the doctrine of redemption willingly accepts the divine existence, and divine revelation in Scripture, divine nature and attributes, divine work in creation and providence, none of these truths would be possible without the reality of God.
----------------------
His reality and natural attributes are taught by the design and workmanship revealed in the material universe; and also in the laws which govern it.
Psalm 19:1 The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handy-work.
I've become a firm believer of gardening by the "farmers almanac" the zodiac signs, the old farmers have did this for years, we can look on most good calendars and see ahead of time what phase the moon will be in on any given day and even year, only God could have directed this order of the moon phases and constellations, their always right on time, you that like to piddle with growing things let me encourage you to look into these zodiac signs, if that sounds a little bit far out for some of you let me use the words, "farmers almanac".
> The zodiac signs are mentioned in
Job 38: 31-33 Canst thou bind the sweet influences of Pleiades, (a cluster of stars)
or loose the bands of Orion? (Any notable constellation)
32Canst thou bring forth Mazzaroth (the zodiac) in his season? or canst thou guide Arcturus (the constellation of the Great Bear) with his sons? 33Knowest thou the ordinances of heaven? --- These are in the bible.
--------
There is no greater witness than the book of nature so to speak, how full it is of revealed demonstrations of a Supreme intelligence and Architect.
There surely had to be a Superior Intelligence responsible for the beautiful heavens above, with their glorious constellations and glittering lights; and also for the abundant clothing of the earth with its grass and flowers and forests; and streams, multiplied minerals all of which man and beast require for their sustenance.
* There's surely a Supreme Intelligence that created all things:
The existence of natural objects shows that they must have had a Maker, for there can be no effect without a sufficient cause. A house proves that it must have had a builder, and the universe with all its wonders must have had a Maker.
Man, by the powers of reason and observation is able to comprehend the order and structure of things around him. He can perceive how they are formed and grouped, and by what laws they are organized.
