WAITING WITH A FIRE IN MY BONES?

Jeremiah 20: 9 Then I said, I will not make mention of Him, nor speak any more in His Name.

But HIS WORD was in my heart as a BURNING FIRE SHUT UP IN MY BONES ---

LET ME ASK YOU A QUESTION: WHICH IS MORE DANGEROUS --- ZEAL WITHOUT WISDOM?

OR WISDOM WITHOUT ZEAL?

WE KNOW ZEAL WITH LITTLE OR NO WISDOM IS VERY DANGEROUS.

I ASK IS ZWW (ZEAL WITHOUT WISDOM) --- MORE DANGEROUS THAN WWZ (WISDOM WITHOUT ZEAL)?

The Bible warns us of ignorance and man falling short because he doesn’t know.

Matthew 22:29 Jesus answered and said unto them, YE DO ERR, NOT KNOWING THE SCRIPTURES,

NOR THE POWER OF GOD!

The Bible also warns of those moving with zeal, but they lack knowledge.

Romans 10:2 For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge.

Some general statements on ignorance:

It is very smart to hide ignorance, but it is not always easy to hide.

It is very dangerous to be ignorant of ignorance.

Ignorance of the law excuses no man, else every man could plea ignorance.

Ignorance in action can kill many. Just because you can scream real loud does not make you right.

Yes, I have seen new converts and green preachers accidentally hurt someone because they had more zeal than

they had common sense. This can be deadly.

WE ALSO KNOW THERE IS GREAT DANGER IN HAVING GREAT KNOWLEDGE AND NO ZEAL.

2 Timothy 3:7 Ever learning but never able to come to the knowledge of truth.

We have more and more seminars and print tons of material, and we sit back waiting for a more opportune time?

Seems we are learning more and more, about less and less, until finally we know every thing about nothing?

We have many polished excuses to not go fishing? Can you catch fish on dry land?

We must WAIT ON GOD, but we must have ZEAL, ENTHUSIASM, ENERGY, and a positive approach as we wait!

CHRISTIAN WORKERS ARE LIMITED WHEN THEY WORK ---

SAD, TIRED, DRAINED OF VICTORY, BEATEN AND RUN-DOWNED.

Seems the enemy has deceived us into thinking we have worn out our patience, and waiting is defeat.

ZEAL PROVOKES AND AROUSES FAITH AND ACTION!

2 Cor. 9:2 For I know the forwardness of your mind, for which I boast of you to them of Macedonia, that Achaia was ready a year ago; and your zeal hath provoked very many.

AS WE WAIT, THE FIRE CAN DIE FROM WITHIN, WE NEED TO STIR UP FROM WITHIN:

2 TIMOTHY 1:6 WHEREFORE I PUT YOU IN REMEMBRANCE THAT THOU STIR THE GIFT OF GOD

WE NEED TO FALL IN LOVE AGAIN WITH JESUS, OUR FAMILIES, AND THE CHURCH.

I once read a line, Don’t marry who you can live with, marry who you can’t live without.

Our HOPE is in Jesus, the WAIT will be worth it all!

I CANNOT LIVE WITHOUT MINISTRY.

1 Cor.16:15 --- and that they have addicted themselves to the ministry of the saints,

ZEAL HAS AN INFLUENCE ON YOUR PRAYER LIFE!

James 5:16 --- The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

We need very hot and glowing prayer lives. Something is wrong if I pray only because I have to...

Prayer needs to exhibit great faith and intense emotions.

I once had a dream, I saw two men in my dream, I knew them, they were Father and Son.

In my dream, I saw them in their front room, they would fall to their knees and scream and cry.

As I dreamed, I saw them both jump to their feet in great excitement. Then in almost anger they would fall

to their knees and cry. Then they would jump to their feet in excitement.

I pondered, what is going on here? Are they really praying?

As I watched them, the picture opened wider and I could see, they were watching Kentucky play

basketball! They would fall and scream when Kentucky was behind, and jump in excitement as UK would

win. Their excitement was for sports --- not prayer --- not GOD?

A LOSS OF ZEAL WILL BE A TRAIT OF THE LAST DAYS:

Matthew 24:12 And because iniquity shall abound, THE LOVE OF MANY SHALL WAX COLD.
