3. Fourth Seal
Summary: Following in the wake of the famine comes another horse, still more terrible in its symbolic meaning. It is pale, meaning livid and corpselike. The rider is called Death, the aftermath of war and famine.
4. Fifth Seal
Summary: When these first preachers deliver their message, there will be very few on earth who will listen, because those who have been exposed to the Truth as we hear the Truth today, will be sent strong delusions.

5. Sixth Seal
Summary: The martyrs cried, “Avenge us!” but the unbelievers on earth will cry, “Hide us!” The opening of the “sixth seal” will produce worldwide convulsions and catastrophes, including the first of three “great earthquakes."
6. Sealing Of The 144,000 On Earth
Summary: The sixth seal had been opened, and the people of the earth tried to hide from God, asking who would be able to survive God’s judgment. Just when destruction seemed sure, four angels held back the four winds of judgment until God’s people were sealed.
7. The Great Multitude In Heaven
Summary: They (the great multitude) were saved by trusting the Lord Jesus. In their psalm (song) they celebrate their salvation and attribute it to their God and to the Lamb, and they thanked God for His gift.
8. Seventh Seal
Summary: God pity those who will be here upon this earth when the seventh seal is removed! Will you be here? If you are not born again, you may be. But you can be saved this moment . . .

9. First Trumpet: Third Of Vegetation Destroyed.
Summary: Look up into the sky. Can you envision blazes of fire, streams of blood and great chunks of ice falling upon the earth? Can you imagine all the trees blazing, burning, and going up in smoke— and the grass being burned to a crisp?
10. Second Trumpet: Third Of Sea Creatures And Ships Destroyed
Summary: When the second trumpet sounded, what appeared to be a great mountain, burning with fire, was cast into the sea so that a third of it became blood, and a third of the creatures in the sea were killed, and a third of the ships were destroyed.
11. Third Trumpet
Summary: When our Lord hung upon the cross, His enemies “Gave Him vinegar to drink mingled with gall” (Matthew 27:34). But at the sounding of the third trumpet, many wicked men will die from water made bitter by the Divine Judge.
12. Fourth Trumpet
Summary: The fourth angel’s trumpet sound struck a third of the sun, moon, and stars. This affects the structure of the universe. Everything from the remaining plant life and even the tides in the oceans would be changed.
13. Three-Fold Woe Announced
Summary: Here we have one of the pauses in the narrative which the Revelation uses so effectively. Three fearful woes are to come upon the earth when the remaining three angels sound the last blasts on the trumpets; but for the moment there is a pause . . .
14. Fifth Trumpet: Locusts From The Bottomless Pit, Sent To Torment
Summary: The supernatural creatures released upon the blowing of the fifth trumpet are evil spirits. The description given of their appearance is, at the same time, a description of their character. We are told thirteen things about them.
15. Sixth Trumpet (second Woe)
Summary: The horror of the vision mounts. The demonic locusts were allowed to injure but not kill; but now come the squadrons of demonic cavalry to annihilate a third part of the human race.
16. Seventh Trumpet (third Woe): The Victory Of Christ
Summary: The last trump is about to sound, and that will lead to the outpouring of the vials of God’s wrath. But first we are given a glimpse of the crowning in Heaven of God’s rightful king.
17. The Beast From The Sea
Summary: They worshipped the beast, saying that there is no other like it and no one can stand against it, and they worshiped the dragon (i.e., Satan), from whom the beast gets its authority.

18. The Lamb And The 144,000 On Mount Zion
Summary: This is the illustrious company of the 144,000 from the twelve tribes of Israel, who are sealed (Revelation 7). These sealed ones have been preserved unharmed throughout the great tribulation, despite the rage of the dragon and the beast.
19. Proclamations Of Three Angels
Summary: Three angels now appear who have been commissioned by the Lord to deliver three proclamations to the earth.
20. First Bowl: Sores On Those Who Worshiped The Beast And His Image
Summary: These bowls are only poured out on the enemies of God and of Christ, and of His church and people; for no wrath can be poured out upon the saints, not a single drop can fall upon them, because that would not be consistent with God's everlasting love.
