We live in a "me centered" world and that creeps into the church and I try to make spiritual things about what I want.
Allow me to begin with a little test. (I did an illusion called "What Next" where the dots on a card change and the audience is fooled.) Jesus didn't die (just) for your sins; He died for YOU and He deserves to get what He paid for.

3. God's Plan Is Not For Me To Be Happy, But Holy

God's ultimate plan for me is to develop my character and make me holy, not to make my life easy so I am always happy.
