Instead of collapsing in terror of our circumstances, like Daniel, Christ’s ambassadors need to stand firm on the cross and empty tomb as being evidence that not even the gates of hell can stop God and His plans!

Daniel’s humility did not negate his ambition to do his very best to unconditionally love his captors so that he might point them to God the Father in heaven who is the source of all life.

Daniel lived amongst the mostly ungodly of all nations and yet when his light shined even kings came to acknowledge God’s might and power. Do not buy into the lie that you cannot make a difference in your workplace, community, family or nation because through the power of God you can!
