Psalms 23 is one of the most loved Psalms in the Bible. David spoke intimately of his relationship with the Lord. He was the sheep while the Lord was the shepherd. The shepherd's provision, protection, preservation and presence is clearly highlighted.

The good Shepherd is the Prince of Peace. The obedient sheep rest secure in the presence of the good Shepherd.

The Shepherd refreshes and restores the strength of the sheep. He heals and restores the health of the sheep. He is also known as the great Physician.
