Jesus’ identity is shown as we research Jesus’ family tree. And Jesus’ identity is shown as we see Him fend off Satan’s attacks - the very attacks that were driven to distort Jesus’ special identity.

There was a great deal at stake in the desert. Had Jesus lost to Satan here, God’s whole plan to save humanity would have been destroyed.
