Jesus raising Lazarus began the events that led to the crucifixion, so let’s start there. Today in Days 1-2, the Pharisees and chief priests respond to Lazarus being raised, Jesus’ triumphant entry, and prophecies fulfilled.

2. Trying To Trap Jesus - The Easter Story - Day 3

Over the next few days, Jesus taught in the temple daily and lodged in Bethany. The religious leaders looked for an opportunity to kill Him and tried to trap Him with questions. Jesus rebuked them publicly. He spoke parables and talking to his disciples about the end times.

3. The Lord’s Supper: Easter Story - Days 5-6

Two days before Passover, Jesus was anointed and betrayed. The next evening, Jesus and the disciples had the Lord’s Supper and headed to the Mount of Olives.

4. Mount Of Olives: The Easter Story - Day 7

Jesus and the eleven left the upper room and walked to the mount of Olives. Jesus may have talked to them on the trip and/or before he took Peter, James and John further into the garden. Many of the familiar verses of comfort come from this conversation. Jesus also spoke of prophesies fulfilled.
