The government of Israel was administered in the name and authority of God – Israel was a Theocracy and God was their king. His earthly representatives, from Moses to Samuel, had no authority of their own. Their job was to uphold and enforce the Laws of God before the people.
December 27, 2025 Samuel was unique. He was judge, prophet and priest and under his wise control the nation prospered.
