1. Begin Well

We will only begin the race well when we identify, and full confess, our spiritual bankruptcy to Jesus. There are no achievements, or spiritual outcomes, which make us worthy of God’s attention. It is only our faith in the great exchange that Jesus is willing to make for us.

2. Run Well

When we run the race our calling is to be jars of clay. The Christian race is not run to bring attention to ourselves, but to put all the attention onto the treasure which is within us. When we run like this then we are running well.

3. Fail Well

In the journey of life we want to run the race faithfully but we constantly find ourselves failing. However because we are put of the church we are able to fail well. To fail well requires is to fulfil our responsibility and accept our vulnerability.

4. Finish Well

As we run the race the journey will be one where we face many faith-testing situations. In that journey we can endure and “finish well” because our Saviour gives us all we need to fight the good fight, finish the race and keep the faith.
