Contributed on Apr 9, 2026
Jesus will come like a thief? Jesus's coming will surprise all of us. That doesn't sound like a good thing... and it isn't for some folks. But for those who look forward to His coming, it will be a mighty good thing. How can we be ready for His 2nd Coming?
A woman was taking her mother out for a drive and her mother scolded her every time she went over the speed limit. But it was HER car, and she was determined to drive as fast as she wanted to. Then she saw the flashing red and blue lights in the rearview mirror, and the policeman pulled her over ...read more

2. Casting Crowns
Contributed on Apr 17, 2026
Why did the 24 Elders cast down their crowns before the throne? And what does that mean to us?
The first thing that occurred to me (as I read the description in this chapter) was that it said that “The twenty-four elders fall down before him who is seated on the throne and worship him who lives forever and ever. They cast their crowns before the throne, saying, “Worthy are you, our Lord ...read more

What do you think of when you think of heaven? What you think will determine a lot about what you can share with others about your faith.
What do you think about when you think about heaven? I read the story of a little girl who was outside with her dad one night. The only lights were the dazzling stars in the sky. And she turned to her dad and said “If this the wrong side of heaven, and it’s so beautiful, what do you think the ...read more

John wept because no one was found that worthy to open the scroll. But why did John weep... and what can that tell us about what this passage means to us?
It was a frigid morning in January of 1945 in France. Americans from the 30th regiment were tasked with taking a critical section of woods, but the Nazi forces had no intention of giving up that territory… and the Americans lost ground and were mercilessly cut down by Germans. It was then that ...read more

Had you ever thought about the importance of the Altar of Incense? There is powerful imagery portrayed here in Revelation 8 that can make a powerful impact on your prayer life.
In September of 1939, Adolf Hitler’s armies began to sweep across Europe, and 9 months later, they had conquered Poland, Belgium, the Netherlands and France. By May of 1940 a half million British and French soldiers were trapped on the beaches of Dunkirk. All that remained for Germany to do ...read more
