As we begin we have opened six of the seven seals around the little scroll which could only be opened by the Lamb who was slain–Jesus Christ. Before the seventh seal is opened, we encounter seven trumpets.

We have completed six of the seven trumpet’s calls. In between the sixth and last trumpet, one with great authority over both land and sea appeared. In his hand was a little book which caused the one with authority to cry. When he cried, ‘seven’ ‘thunders’ spoke.

We were given insights to the judgment where all evil beasts and Satan, himself, were cast into the lake which burns with fire and brimstone. Here in chapter 20 we see the first punishment upon Satan where he is cast into the bottomless pit for a thousand years.
